Don't knock meatloaf. It's gotten a bad rap.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and his wife Mary Pat had lunch with President Donald Trump on Valentine's Day and, according to Christie, Trump made him have the White House meatloaf. "This is what it's like to be with Trump," Christie said during a guest host spot on a radio show on Thursday, according to the New York Post. "He says, 'There's the menu, you guys order whatever you want.' And then he says, 'Chris, you and I are going to have the meatloaf.'" According to Christie, Trump said, "I'm telling you, the meatloaf is fabulous."

It’s a funny story. I still think Christie will be in the Trump White House sooner than later. I can see him as Chief of Staff by the end of the year.
Meatloaf is great, and also when made with turkey or venison.
perhaps the president was doing Christie a favor and keeping him from eating the fish. Don’t you recall all of the movies where the pilots and passengers get sick from eating the fish and not the meatloaf?

I LOVE meatloaf too, but my mother’s recipe is far better than the president’s mother’s. I wouldn’t eat his mother’s recipe if I was starving.
Nope...he’s still under investigation re the GWB mess. He needs to be nowhere near the administration; he brings NOTHING at all to the team.

No; it’s one of the few dishes that doesn’t. It does call for garlic and diced onions, Angostura Bitters, Worcester Sauce, Italian flavored bread crumbs, 1 egg, and ground round. And it’s delicious! People who HATE meatloaf, love this one.

I don’t see any advantage in have Christie in the WH, either. He is a total suckup to Trump. (Watch his body language on election night, totally obsequious.)
I never trust a suckup. They are opportunists and will turn on you as soon as a better opportunity comes along. Plus, they only say what you want to hear. I don’t need an echo.

I love meat loaf. You can make it lower in calories by adding grated zuchinni or carrots. Christie probably wanted to eat marbled beef and mashed potatoes topped with bacon grease.
I don't know why they all ignore the fact that he has put SHARIA loving Muslims on the bench, in Jersey, as judges, that taxes there are high, and that he has NOT been a "good" governor at all.
