The Cavaliers point guard, who has established himself as one of the premier players in the NBA, caused a stir by saying he believes the earth is flat, not round, while participating on the podcast “Road Tripping with RJ and Channing.”

“This is not even a conspiracy theory,” Kyrie said. “The earth is flat.”

They gave ten reasons, ending up by stating that the Latin Vulgate "is not only better then al other Latin translations, but then the Greek text itself, in those places where they disagree." (Preface to the Rheims New Testament, 1582). They state that the Vulgate is "more pure then the Hebrew or Greek now extant" and that "the same Latin hath bene barre better conserved from corruption." (Preface to the Douay Old Testament, 1609).

Every civilization that existed at the time the Bible was written believed the earth was flat. I really would not expect the Bible to say any different.

I’ve never taken the Bible as a definitive authority on scientific matters; it is not. It is a spiritual and moral guide.

If I follow your theory correctly, Antarctica is a ring that circles the outside of the Flat Earth disk. That means that you can (and will) reach it, no matter what direction you travel, across the surface of this world.

Following your weak excuse, it would seem that no people in the last ten thousand years ever ventured into the Antarctic interior, and no one ever left a written record, because of a treaty that wasn't inked until 1959.

Well, surely there are photos and even video of this ring of ice, taken from multiple space missions in modern times. But no one's ever seen such photos and video, which in your mind, can only mean that the government is hiding the truth from us, because...

I never said nobody ventured into the Antarctic interior. That's your conjecture. Nobody has traveled across Antarctica though. They go to the "geographical center" and the backtrack their route back out. No flights go across Antarctica either. They go in and backtrack out on the same path as well. Why is that?
