I heard part of the conference on the radio, and I agree with you that Prez Trump handled himself well.
But, the media hates him. My wife had FOX on, and there were several reporters who said that Trump was dumping on the press (who can blame him?), and then Shep came on and said, “As reporters, its our job to tell you when a public figure doesn’t tell the truth, and it when it’s the President and it’s demonstrably true...” You get the idea. Obviously, I’m not watching, but Shep is the afternoon face of FOX. He sucks.

What needs to be understood and acknowledged by those who are pro-illegal alien is that any hardships the DACA kids are potentially facing are not the fault of the U.S. government, but of their parents or other guardians who brought them here illegally. the blame needs to be placed where it belongs. Has the U.S. government kidnapped kids from Mexico and forced them to live in the shadows on this side of the border? No.

Thanks for the synopsis - I had to watch with the sound off. I went for a late lunch at my favorite local Mexican restaurant’s bar just to see if anybody showed up today on immigrant call-out day. They were all there - but had the mariachi music on instead of the TV sound.
When they asked what was he going to do about the Russians, he said, “I’m not going to tell you.”
The greatest line in the presser: “I’m not going to tell you.”
This is very much unlike the “deer in the headlights” look most cowardly GOP get when facing a hostile press.
Trump doesn’t care what they think of him... he knows the people are behind him.

I love it. Just throw it right back in their simpering faces. President Trump may be a lot of things, but he doesn't have the need to be liked by the press, and that is a very, VERY powerful element. He sounds like he simply does not care if they like him, or if he insults them and hurts their feelings.
