So?.....What if the teachers can't read or write in cursive? ( Just wondering)

Also....Knowing how to HOLD a writing implement is VERY important if later damage to the tendons of the hand and wrist are to be avoided later!! Children need to practice this whether they print or use cursive.

Even artists who use a computer stylus should hold the drawing implement properly to avoid strain on the tendons of the hand, thumb, and wrist.

VERY, VERY, important!!!!

I taught my children the Getty-Dubai method when they were homeschoolers. They have beautiful handwriting. Like you I taught this to myself, as well, and learned the method as they learned.
