I've never "embraced" any of them. In fact, I've never heard another soul even mention this show since they had a gold-digger contestant a few years back who blew up into a bunch of legal problems with lots of people going to court.
How would we know if America "embraced" Rachel? Is she a transsexual? If not, "embracing" her would be cis-gendered and therefore homophobic, would it not?

From what I understand, no one takes the show “seriously”. They know it’s heavily edited, full of people that auditioned, and the people that “fall in love” and “get married” are required to do so for a few months per their contract in order to get their check.
They then promptly break up.

For a second I thought this was a racist statement - but, of course, that is impossible.
There does seem to be a link between a black stripper starting her act and white men's need to pee, however.
