I couldn’t go to bed without finding (and enjoying) this new 24 thread! The thread’s as good as the show, which is lots of fun.
Years ago there were hundreds, if not thousands, of Freepers who posted weekly to the 24 threads with great passion, delight and wit.
It, along with American Idol, made Freep a weekly enjoyable place to come to when we wanted a respite from politics and watching our country die.
Maybe there’s too few old timers who weren’t around with those classic Freep threads, if so...that is a sad thing indeed. But be aware, there’s TONS of Freepers who are glad to see these new 24 threads.

I get so, so tired of Freepers who come onto threads to just bitch, moan and complain about topics that other Freepers are happily engaging in discussing.

Three’s been some REALLY good TV shows on recenlty.
I don’t know if you’ve seen them, but check out Justified; Rescue Me; The Shield; Breaking Bad; Better Call Saul; Fargo; 24; Doctor Who; Sherlock (the BBC version); Battlestar Galactica; Warehouse 13; Six; Haven; Grimm and many others.
There’s some really good TV out now...

Wow. Are you really that miserable? You sound like the person watching out the window making sure kids don’t step on your property and ready to pounce if they do.
If I knew my post, done with a smile on my face, would so unhinge you I wouldn’t have done it.
I have been on Free Republic, lurking and posting, since about 2000. I trust FR to inform and entertain. It is so funny sometimes I can’t believe it.

Just watched the first 13-14 episodes, Season 1 of 24, on Amazon Prime. There was a mole in that set (she wound up committing suicide).
Is that what I have to look forward to from now on in this series? I didn’t watch 24 previously.
