I don't know what has changed in society, but I am done.
The stupid protests of the last week have pushed me over.

I really need to move out of California, but my husband has work here.

FB is the Devil’s tool.
I check in a couple times a month....it limits the “hits” FB gets from me....recommend others do the same. It’s not like emergencies are what FB is for in my world.

That is a long-term project that began in the halls of academia in the 1960’s. We’re just seeing the Alinsky plan come to its natural fruition.
I feel the same way about getting out of this crazy state. It’s God’s country run by demons. The taxes we pay are insane but not as crazy as the way the kooks here waste the money.
Quitting is a great idea - makes your life a lot calmer! Don’t lose heart though - remember that hundreds or even thousands of those are paid protestors, from the web of Soros organizations.
It might be the devil’s tool, but it gives a pretty good glimpse into the mindset of the people among whom we have to live, some of whom we call friends. The country is split. Hopelessly, I think. This will not end well.

The split was always there. Islam is simply the latest public face of it.

I understand completely!!! There are certain ways to get through to them. If they post an impeachment plea, for example, I will say something simple like “What are your main concerns?” They often don’t answer, but I figure asking them questions might poke their bubble a little bit. Also a wise person told me that you are sometimes posting your answers to help other silent people who are reading the exchange, not to actually get through to the lib. But leaving them completely behind is a fine option as well at thi point!
“limiting” your FB use is like writing a strongly worded letter. Just quit it cold turkey.

I would live to peacefully discuss ideas with people who don’t think the same as me. It seems those days are gone.
I’ve never belonged to Facebook, because it is obviously biased to the left and brings money to its Communist-loving owner. Also, because so many people have gotten into trouble with their Facebook posts, or had their ID’s stolen. Not a good idea to talk about private matters out in the public square; and plenty of hackers can get into your account, whether you allow them or not.
Alinsky didn’t count on Trump. 50 years of treacherous groundwork being undone in days.
And, yes, we can’t relax and stop fighting. This fight has just begun. But, it will be won.

But seriously - my wife gets so worked up, but she is on FB a lot and has mostly liberal contacts. But WE frickin’ WON! Screw these “one percenters” of the riot class. Yes they make the noise and the news, but I'm guessing that they will probably help conservatives the next election.
