It Friday and I'm feeling great.

Not a peep from Obama for a week has me listening to music again.

Having trouble concentrating at work - too distracted with all the winning.

Cool tune, obscure track from a mid seventies Tubes album (one of my favorites).

White Punks on Dope is one of the most brilliant songs, the lyrics are scathing.

Completion Backwards Principal is one of my all time favorite albums — one I can listen to start to finish, not a clinker in the bunch.

Came on to this thread to make a positive comment on Completion Backward Principle as well. Great album.

“If you can possibly manage the time, please listen to both sides in one sitting.” (or something like that)

Scathing? Repetitious might be a better word.

I heard “Talk to you Later” and “Don’t Want to Wait Anymore” in the last week on the radio. Small world. That is a great album.

Although, I have to admit my all time favorite Tubes album is “Remote Control” 1979, produced by Todd Rundgren and the one just before Completion Backwards Principal.

Happy Friday

The Tubes - White Punks on Dope

A lot of people thought this was a pro drug song, but it wasn't.

That was cool. What a show. Thanks.

I saw them live at the Belly Up Tavern in 98. Small venue in Solana Beach, Ca.

Good song.

Back when The Tubes were interesting.
