Perhaps you’re like my grandkids, needing lots of fast action to keep their attention from wandering.
Slow development of your story may be ok for folks raised on 3 TV channels, but if you want to try to influence the digital generation, you’re going to need to catch them in the first five seconds. You’ve go a bit longer with folks that were raised with TVs with remote controls, but if you are aiming to have people sit for a static screen for almost a minute, you are really targeting folks who remember how difficult it was to re-tune pre-transistor radios.
Maybe a 5 second slide where ‘Lügenpresse’ dissolves into ‘CNN’, then flash to the picture and compare it to the mainstream media.

Remember - 8 second attention span. If you haven’t captured them by that point, you’ve lost them. Unless they are trying to tune in WLS on their old tube radio.

There’s nothing new under the sun. Back on 9/12/09 we convened in Washington - there were a million of us, pretty near - and the media barely mentioned our presence in Washington. Not only so, but on the web we saw photos purporting to show that the gathering was sparse - but the photo was taken before the crowd had time to fully assemble. The real thing was no kind of sparse. It covered the mall.
Remember the "million Man March"? (2 mil claimed, Natl Park Service said 400,000)
Evidently, white men can't jump, they also can't count.
The loss of control, wrenched from the media, hollywood and academia by the American people has caused them to become even more unhinged.
For years, their narrative was the only narrative, their news, the only news, their point of view the only point of view and that control is gone and they must vent their rage.
One of the radio stations I listen to now has some liberal hack on it and I have braved the waters a couple of times to listen in. It is is incredibly funny to hear what the libs have to say.
I think they actually believe that the majority of the people in the country believe as they do. That map of the sea of red is a huge reality check on that belief.
My prayer is that they tire soon.
I am to the right of where the camera tower is. It blocks much of that crowd and I cannot pick us out. I was not wearing a red hat, but my two friends were!
