Bump for later.
Says it all.
Bookmarking a great post and a great cartoon.
THANK YOU! Those are loud capital letters of happy gratitude to read someone else expressing the viewpoint which is similar to that which I and millions of other women hold and is suppressed by the media, etc. I am sending out an email with the link to the page, and a copy of your post, so they read it. This beautiful grateful way of thinking needs to be expressed and explored so the truth is exposed and help can be given to those women who live in places where there is no hope for women. Thank you, again.
“2 Timothy 3 King James Version (KJV)
3 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God”
Interesting times we live in.
Bingo
Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others.
― Marcus Tullius Cicero
Thank you! Your reply expanded the ideas of the original post. I so agree. It seems we, the grateful women of America, need our point of view, expanded on rather then marginalized and tossed to the side.
Well said, and AMEN! Those NAG-HAGS do NOT speak for me!
Nor does this woman!!!
Were there any people with mikes wandering around asking questions like...what are your demands....why are you doing this....OR why didn't your people condemn Bill Clinton and his use of the intern and others.....why didn't you say something when Michelle O. said how appalled she was over trashy words spoken by Trump decades ago but in the last 8 years the same Michelle entertained foul mouthed rappers in the White House.......
With a new sheriff in town, maybe the age of Political Correctness, Bias, fake news will drain away....leaving frank, honest and ideas in that awful wake of deceit from the MSM, the White House and from our schools.
Yes, I was pondering the things these women say and suddenly I figured out who they are, “female supremacists.”
Exactly...this isn’t a “Women’s March”.
This is a “Psycho Ex-Girlfriend Convention”
Lol, I showed it to my wife... she said you don’t even look at what I post do you... it’s already on my page.
Maybe the reason for that is that men go to the bathroom to ... go to the bathroom. It takes them 30 seconds to do their business and move on. Women treat a toilet like it's a water-cooled Club Med.
My wife could have written that.
Last night we had dinner at a restaurant with very dear and very liberal friends. I was hoping that no one would bring up yesterday's march. Well, on the way back for some dessert at our house I drove our friend while my husband drove with her husband.
She fairly quickly told me how proud she was that she, her husband and one of her daughters had marched. She felt that had Hillary won, she could've sat back and things would get taken care of, but now she had to protest.
I felt my blood boil but tried to remain calm, and told her that I didn't like Hillary's track record of destruction, and wondered how many of these women marched against Obama's wars in the Middle East. What was so funny about Hillary's pronouncement regarding Libya, "We came, we saw, he died- Hahaha!"? That stopped her in her tracks. And, to her credit, she agreed with me.
But, Obamacare, was the next thing. I told her my Obamacare plan is canceled every year, and the replacement is more expensive with more out of pocket, less benefits. More amazement. "I had no idea."
I plan to ask all of those who are now "mourning" Obama, whether they ever protested the carnage he has wrought in the ME, the drone killings, spying, worse jobs for the younger generation (a point my friend brought up regarding her own daughter), and then tell me what it is that Trump has so far DONE to protest him. Oh, yes, they should also be asked how many refugees they took into their own homes. But that would be a great question for the Hollywood celebrities as well. End of rant (sorry).
I saw some of the scenes from the march yesterday and I flashed back to college - when I was young and naive and a follower - and knew I may have attended something like that.
And I wouldn't have had a clue what I was marching for!
I felt sympathy for some of those women - but hopeful that they will someday figure it out.
I am so grateful to be a woman in the USA. I have had so many opportunities and comparatively few sacrifices.
Well you can look at Germany as an example of what their world would look like.
My mother used to tell me that my roll in life was to find a husband that would take care of me. I never, ever believed that, as I felt that as an individual I was capable of doing anything I wanted. Besides that, I was better in math than any boy I knew, lol. And this was before women’s lib. I was all for equality in the workplace which we have achieved. You are right, we DO have equality as far as opportunity goes so I don’t understand what they are complaining about.
and although I did succeed in the business world, my greatest accomplishment is my four wonderful children and my grandkids.
Logical thinking is foreign to them. If they listened long enough to hear this, they’d call you a bunch of bad names.
I also shared the one that said, "I was part of a 30 million women march on November 8, 2016. We marched our asses right into a voting booth and voted Donald J. Trump for President of the United States."
