No more George Will! The establishment was already having nightmares about the Trump presidency, and now one of their biggest water carriers got the boot from FOX. I’m sure George will end up at CNN or one of the other cable networks as the token “conservative”.

Farage's famous speech to the EU after the Brexit vote.

Like Trump, he takes no prisoners. 😁

Great news! Farage is sharp and plain spoken.

Nigel Farage has some hidden sides that are very interesting.

To start with, he is a very cagey politician, the big driving force behind UKIP and Brexit. And after that huge victory, in some amazing strategic planning, he turned over the reigns of UKIP to his successor.

This meant the “conservatives” (Tories) couldn’t try to dump a defective Brexit in his lap, with the intent to destroy both him personally and UKIP. And being on the outside, he can act as a brutal check on the conservatives if they try any Brexit hanky-panky. It also insulates UKIP and makes it stronger by developing other leaders.

While he and UKIP were shut out of membership in the UK parliament for a long time, they had a lot of successes in joining their nemesis, the European Parliament. With Farage himself a Member (MEP), he had to be given time to make floor speeches at an organization he despised.

There are a *bunch* of these floor speeches on YouTube, and he is a treat to listen to as he berates the other MEPs for being dictatorial, greedy, and corrupt. His debate skills are comparable to those of the great Oxford/Cambridge debates, but he didn’t attend “Oxbridge.”

Instead, he went to Dulwich College, an independent school in southeast London, that is something of a mix of a high school and college, but not a university. Importantly, for Dulwich, debate is a very serious sport there.

They were winners of The Oxford Union Debating Competition 2014, 2015 and 2016, one of the most prestigious schools debating competitions in the world with over 800 teams competing. And they were also winners of The Cambridge Union Schools Debating Competition 2014 and 2015 – and remarkably, the final saw two Dulwich College teams competing.

So if you get a chance, check out some of the YouTube videos. They are especially good if some other MEP decides to snivel and whine at Farage, and he proceeds to rhetorically cut them to ribbons.

He will be a superb addition to Fox News, and will give uncensored and unfiltered views of what is happening in Europe that would horrify the MSM both there and here.
