Obama To Make History With Friday Arrival In Palm Springs
KMIR NBC Palm Springs ^ | January 19, 2017 | Vince Marino

Post-presidential visits to the desert are nothing new. Presidents Eisenhower, Nixon and Ford all came to the Coachella Valley after their time in office. President Obama though will make history Friday when he becomes the first president to head straight for the desert the moment he becomes a private citizen.

After all, they don't call the Coachella Valley "the playground of presidents" for no reasons.

If there’s a lesson to be learned, this sack of crap should have been impeached in 2009 and every subsequent year to the present, yet Congress did absolutely nothing, in fact they helped him all along the way.

LOL. Ya what’s up with this? And why is he going to Palm Springs when they are planning to live in Washington post presidency?

If I recall correctly, Bush 43 went to his home in Dallas on the day he left office. Reagan flew home to LA. Jimmy Carter flew to Warner Robins on his way back to Plains, GA. Why does Obama get to travel at our expense out of town,2when he’s not returning to his home town as he leaves office e???

Palm Springs is a gay mecca. I’m sure that’s just a coincidence to 0dunga’s visit.

Whatever.

Let’s NOT see his name after tomorrow here!

Or at least not as often!! :)

Of course the many scandals will involve his name.

He has no place else to go. He just purchased property and it’s not ready yet. Other presidents actually own property and have owned it since before they were elected. 0bama’s just a grifter.

Palm Springs has a problem.

When a turd arrives in one’s front yard, one carefully shovels it up and places it in the trash.

How often are the weather reports correct? They’re usually ahead or behind a day or two.. Or the predicted event never happens at all.

He and Mooch just had a vacation (at taxpayer expense) 3 weeks ago in Hawaii. Now, they have another vacation in Palm Springs.

Mooch may have hated the WH but they both sure like the perks.

I predict traffic jams when ever he travels from point a to point b.

Palm Springs is not very big.

‘Epic’ rainfall is expected Friday in the Inland Empire. The courses will likely be too waterlogged to play all weekend. Perhaps he should continue on to Hawaii? He might find a warmer welcome there.
