It's written for the casual reader to think that the temperature has gone UP a degree. That's hardly the case. It's one degree above average. That's why things are "average"....50% of the time the measurement will be higher or equal, 50% equal or lower.
My High Temp, locally, was almost 20 degrees higher than average today. Doesn't mean a thing, two weeks ago, the High Temp was 30 degrees lower than average. I'm not investing in swimsuits or igloos, either way. :-)
Nine years ago ABC reported that NYC would be underwater by 2015. How do these bozos keep getting research grants, and why is algore a hero at Sundance? AGW is the biggest most costly scam in history. What happened to worldwide drought and starvation? AGW causing wars? Arctic passage? Massive hurricanes? And why does a “scientist” claim science is “settled”? Why can celebrities get away with flying their jets to global warming conclaves? Only Al Gore and Bob Beckel can get away with being so obnoxiously and consistently wrong.

All these weather agencies should be privatized.
Private firms will be paid to deliver much more accurate predictions because they won’t get paid unless they do a good job.
The NOAA’s track record of predicting the number of North Atlantic hurricanes in a season is horrifically bad.
A little competition will fix that. So many areas of fraud and abuse for Trump to tackle. Can’t wait for more winning.
