FULL TITLE: Birth parents of girl, 14, raped, strangled and dismembered 'by her polyamorous adoptive mother and woman's boyfriend are inconsolable as they arrive at memorial for victim'
The biological mother of 14-year-old Grace Packer had to be propped up by her family as she sobbed uncontrollably Monday on her way to a memorial service for her murdered daughter.
Police in Pennsylvania believe Packer's adoptive mother, Sarah Packer, and the woman's boyfriend, Jacob Sullivan, tortured, raped, to death and then dismembered the teenager as part of a sick sexual fantasy that was carried out last July.
Grace's remains were discovered in upstate Pennsylvania on Halloween, and the couple were charged in her slaying earlier this month after a failed suicide pact, according to police.
Packer, a former adoption worker, and her boyfriend are due in court Friday for a preliminary hearing.
On Monday morning, Grace's distraught birth mother, Rose Hunsicker, wept as she made her way into the New Life Presbyterian Church in Glenside, surrounded by members of Bikers Against Child Abuse.

Please tell me I am not the only one who believes those allegations of sexual abuse which lead to the termination of parental rights were drummed up by Packer and the girl was her target from the very first. God damn her.

From what I have read, Grace was a sweet, caring kid who just wanted a normal life. It really is one of the saddest stories I have read in a long time and shows the evil that exists underneath even a prosperous middle-class township that I live in.
This is the saddest story I have come across since the Nickel Mines Amish girls killings last decade, just due to the utter depravity.

There are some good people in my township, trying to give Grace a suitable memorial while trying to understand the evil that existing in their midst. Five moms organized a memorial service that was crowdfunded. The significant leftover funds will create a special needs scholarship for the local school district.
I was thinking the exact same thing. It’s incomprehensible evil.
I’m lost. How did the now distraught birth mother give up her daughter in the first place? Seems this emotion should have been invested 14 years ago.
