Two armed men chose the wrong place to attempt a robbery Monday morning, when an employee at the Cobb County gun shop confronted them and shot one dead at the scene, Cobb County police said.
The two men entered Dixie Gun and Pawn at 11 a.m. and attempted to rob the business.
A store employee happened to be armed and exchanged gunfire with the men, striking one of them. The robbery suspect died at the scene, police said.
The other suspect fled on foot. Police said Monday afternoon they have no information about him.
The worker was not injured and the case remains under investigation.

I watched it a couple times. Double tap on the first one then he fired on the second one. It happened so fast I’m surprised he didn’t hit the second one.

He was shooting at perp 2.
Yeah - the second round broke the countertop glass. With that column and the other employee in the way, and the second perp running as fast as he could, easy to see why he missed on the second guy. But the good guys lived.
He double tapped the first, but he was already on the floor. He shot through the display case on the second or third round—hard to tell since he was behind the camera.
The other perp was already gone by the time the first one was down. Initially, he was behind the pillar from where the shooter was.
The owner did very well. Faded back to get armed; took out the closest threat; saved his employee and bought the other perp a life sentence, depending on the state. Over all, I give him a 9.5

Agreed. It looked to me like perp 1 shot the glass case, though. Just gives me an excuse to watch it yet again. I find watching that video just as satisfying as watching the videos of Rachel Madcow crying on election night.
After the shooting, where did the fog come from?
