I blame the coaches, specifically Saban, for the Alabama loss.

He knew all year that Jalen Hurts can't pass.

Clemson's game plan to make Alabama pass worked perfectly.

Clemson's offense is awesome.

Watson should have won the Heisman.

The best team won.

Losing the stud RB to injury was tough. Maybe a game changer.

I want to know why the cheerleaders were wearing freezing weather gear during the second half. Wasn’t this game played in Florida?

So, a fitting end to the Obama years. A team with serial sexual molesters, committing the acts during actual games), wins the college football championship. Perfect. (and no, I wasn’t actually rooting for either side. But, for those who watched, were there any intimidating sexual gropings done to any Alabama players in this game? Just curious.)

Meryl Streep in her giving the middle finger to “flyover America” tirade ‘tuther night, said without Hollyweird all we’d have to watch on TV would be football and MMA fighting. Clemson-Alabama held up their end of the deal as to the football part.

Clemson beat Alabama at every level. Coaching, and on the field.

OTOH. They had the game won, and their defense couldn’t stop them.

I don’t think you need deep analysis. The defense lost the game.

A link to Ben Boulware’s comments: https://www.landof10.com/ohio-state/ohio-state-clemson-curtis-samuel-ben-boulware-christian-wilkins-respond

And the Clemson players say they have done it all year. Now, I don’t believe that Ohio State would have won without the incidents. They obviously just weren’t up to the task. I just wonder what goes on in the minds of those players that think it’s ok to grope opposing players to intimidate. I don’t remember that EVER being a part of football in the past.

Streep won’t care. She knew she was playing to a very friendly house.

Watson is gone now and so is Clemson. I’ll be 35 years again before they get near a title game. Bama is rated #1 to start the season. Fl State will run away with the ACC.

Best nat championship ever in my mind. & I was at a great one in ‘99 when Tennessee came back and beat ranked Fla. State.....

Clemson seemed down and off most of the game, and didn’t come alive after half-time like many teams do.

It was the last quarter, and the last 6 minutes where everything changed - buy still could have gone either way.

Incredible last 2 minutes with drive all the way, decision to go for win vs. tie, and perfect play with 1 second on clock......don’t get no better than that.......

Go Clemson - Go ACC.......

old Hokie fan.....

Call them the “n word” and it draws a flag. But molesting an opposing player isn’t unsportsmanlike conduct ???

If Scarborough hadn’t got hurt Bama would have probably blown them out. Clemson had no answer for him. The entire game changed when Hurts didn’t have him to run the ball. How many times was it 3 and out. Their defense couldn’t stay off the field because of the inept quarterback and it was a matter of time before Watson started hitting the big tight ends. Great defenses get tired too. Bama will be right back next year, Clemson will not. A quarterback as good as Watson comes along once in 25 years.

Clemson led for 1 minute out of 60. If Scarborough does get hurt Bama would have blown them out. Watson gone next year and Clemson will not win the ACC, Fl St will. Bama will start the season ranked #1.

Clemson was the ONLY "complete" team that had the chance to beat Alabama--mostly because the offense and defense finally "jelled" at the right time. That's why it's not as big an upset as people think.

Great game--but the NCAA really needs to adopt most of the aspects of NFL rules in terms of time management to really shorten the game, notably no timeouts after first downs except the last two minutes, a 30-second play clock, and only up to 45 seconds for a replay review. Just that would have cut the real elapsed time of the game as much as 30 minutes.
