John Kerry, tireless in his diplomatic efforts, often came up empty-handed

John F. Kerry was late to his own party.

Staffers, journalists and other officials were gathered in the ornate Benjamin Franklin salon at the State Department on Dec. 14 for early Christmas festivities. But the secretary of State was nowhere to be seen.

Kerry was on the telephone to various world leaders, trying to find out about a major diplomatic meeting — from which the United States had been excluded.

The gathering, which sought to broker a resolution to the devastating Syrian conflict, took place six days later in Moscow and involved the foreign ministers of Russia, Iran and Turkey.

LA Times needs to hire a headline editor who is less of a liberal suck-up.

I can fix that headline:

"Legacy of Incompetent Secretary of State John Kerry: Emboldened enemies, damaged allies "

Seems to me I recall something about his commanders getting disgusted over his bandaids, as you call them.

Heh.

Serious, this guy can be brought down but it will probably take Trump to do it.

Show him testifying about Ghengis Kahn before congress, then follow up with testimony from some Vietnam vets, describing how their buddies died, how the Vietcong had children setting villages on fire.

There’s a lot the Repubs could do but they have air between the legs.

I have a solid hatred for this man and Lord I’d love it if my political party fought back.

:0) I've always said in order to hang a pair of balls, one first has to have a spine from which to hang them.

Kerry has failed at everything he's tried, the only thing anyone remembers about him is that he married the Ketchup Queen, and that he lost. :

Hey, a person can be tireless, yet still incompetent and corrupt.

Empty handed... That’s putting it generously. Putin just negotiated an agreement with Turkey (a NATO country) and they didn’t even bother calling Obama or Kerry.

Such actions shows that Obama was derelict when it came to any sort of Diplomacy. Why would Putin even bother. Clinton and Lurch represent him on foreign policy matters and they were both rank amateurs at dealing with foreign issues, and Obama’s own interest in foreign affairs appears to be non-existent.

Its a sad situation, but the good news is it won’t be going on for too much longer and most of the damage can be fixed.

There is one thing that is for sure... If Trump draws a line in the sand. Nobody is crossing it. That ‘line in the sand’ moment is where Obama lost all credibility with world. That and his outright support and interference in the Brexit vote which failed miserably.

“At least he had Genghis Khan to keep him company.”

It’s Jenjis Khan, pal- at least in Kerry’s own little world.

Kerry would argue that he has committed treason a few times so that should count as successes.....
