Hey everyone. In what has become a Christmas Eve tradition, of sorts, I would like to wish all of those Freepers who, like myself, have for whatever reason found themselves alone this Christmas Eve.
I hope this thread can, as in previous years, serve as a gathering place for the solo folks who may otherwise have little or no contact with others on this celebrated evening.

Spent the afternoon with family for dinner and unwrapping.
Tonight I binged on Netflix and plan to continue binging on Neflix and Amazon Prime tomorrow. Netflix has released several original series and movies the last few weeks.
And, I will be checking FR for the latest news and information.
Russian plane with 91 on board is missing. Not the kind of news we want to hear this time of year.

In one way, your sadness and loneliness at being without your husband this year is normal. My mom has Alzheimer’s and we lost dad this year too. She only sporadically misses him and mourns because mostly she has only the present. In a way it could be seen as a blessing but most of us would rather be fully “there” even if it meant a little more pain among the sweeter moments.

Our wish was granted with a nice cherry on top with the Dontari Poe TD pass at the end, lol.
