I thought the winner(s) would have been a string of words that Hillary had for her staff on election night.

Serially, I have enjoyed this election more than a human being should be allowed to enjoy an event. This whole thing is beyond surreal. It is dang near perfect.

"Donald Trump's upset win in the US presidential election astonished people so much that they rushed to the dictionary to look up the word everyone was using to describe the event: surreal." I suppose if you were listening to the mainstream press day and night, and living inside of the left-liberal echo chamber - yeah, you might have been "surprised" by Trump's big win.
We who were tracking real news, and carefully watching unfolding events, weren't "surprised" at all. In fact, I'd say that most conservatives were cautiously confident that Trump would pull it off - barring some massive fraud on the part of the Democrats.

Pollsters continually oversampled dummycrats by 7-10 pts - and it was a DEAD HEAT. Pollsters were counting on an Obama vs McStain type turnout for the PIAPS - LOL
I was in bed sleeping quite well by 9pm PST. It was a WIPEOUT and I knew it when Florida turned RED.

“Unclear” gets my vote.
Used as a synonym for unknown which it is not. The headlights on my ‘99 Elantra are unclear.
But I guess reporters are loathe to admit they don’t know something and too lazy to find out.

Yes, and the fringe lunatic liberals’ spazz out about Trump winning has been too bizarre to comprehend.

I pretty much have gotten most of my news from FR for a few years, at least.
I was cautiously optimistic, with a few bouts of pessimism.

Yes. These loons have lived for 8 years in an alternate reality lead by Obamalamadingdong, as reality came back into focus they think it's surreal. Basically, leftists were backwards then and they're still backwards.

That these idiots thought they were entitled to run the country is what is surreal.
I hate that word. It was the word of the day at burning man 1993, when (back then) hundreds of hippy dippies descended upon my backyard (worked in Empire for many years). must say the event was fun back then, but that year I heard “Oh my gaaaaaaaawwwwwddd the desert is sooooooooo surrrrrreeeeeeaaaal...with an over exaggerated lisp) almost enough times for me to go on a chain saw killing spree

Words are funny things, Hillary needs a “therapist” and she is married to “ the rapist “. Surreal
Hillary’s electoral defeat came on the anniversary of Bill’s impeachment. Surreal
I’ve got a cousin that lives in Surreal, CA, he’s homeless and wanders the whole state.
