Correction on date of article:
Should be 11/9/2016
Happy to see this pompous ass made the fool.
I thought there was a polling company that got it correct. Am I wrong in that?
Don’t care, still want to see that smug SOB slapped around for a half hour or so.
Another Dem prognosticating moron like Natalie Silver.
I, for one, will not talk to these idiots. I despise the 4-year election cycles and the incessant daily polls that pollute the airwaves and political websites as the election draws near.
LIARS!
“Note: Sabato had predicted Clinton would get 322 EVs and Trump would get 216. “
Hey, give the guy a break, Sabato only got it wrong by 100 EVs ...
In a discussion about trusting in God when times are bad in Bible class today, we learned that Christians are to have a specific trust in God when leaders and/or society are evil. God promises to, in His time, to remove evil and make things right. Throughout history, he has.
Then the thought came out in class which reflects what is happening right now in society. Evil people reject God's Word and the principles found there. So, when events, leadership and decisions don't go their way, evil people panic, have intense anxiety and react in violent, destructive ways. Instead of waiting patiently on people to see the need for God and for Him to act, they have emotional breakdowns requiring "safe places", telephone hotlines and counseling to try and cope.
Some don't adjust and are escalating events to the point of conflict because with no higher power in whom to trust, their world has fallen apart. They are ready to resort to violence. They also accuse the God-fearing people falsely of wanting to do to them what they want to do to us. God help us all.
Idn about polling companies, but Bill Mitchell and Scott Adams called it right all along. Mitchell did a brilliant job of analyzing the polling internals, and Adams evaluated which candidate was most effectively persuading the electorate. Neither of them ever waivered re the outcome.
Yup, you were wrong Larry.
A lot of FReepers, however got it right using the rarely utilized principle of Common Sense.
They arrived at their conclusions by counting the number of enthusiastic supporters consistently showing up at Trump rallies and compared those to the tens of bored looking people paid to show up at Clinton/Kaine events.
From this data they were able to extrapolate their hypotheses—people love Trump and hate Hillary.
Sorry if this analysis is too sophisticated for you, Larry.
They were sure they could fake poll their way into another election victory.
Polls are not meant to reflect opinion, but to shape it.
Their propaganda efforts failed.
This character, Sabato, is a real life moron.
Sucks to be you, eh Larry?
People’s Pundit Daily was desd on, Clinton +1.3% but leafing up to the election PPD pres Richard Baris said his last day of polling in PA had Trump +1 and same in MI.
On election night, I was in a Twitter chat room with him and he called FL at 9:30, about 1 hour 20 minutes before Fox and called PA at 12:05 almost 3 hours before Fox.
“...we were wrong.
Well, Larry, you folks input garbage data into your forecasting models and got garbage results. Its that simple.
Believing that Hillary would pull more votes than Obama, was always a pie-in-the-sky fantasy. We tried to tell you, but you guys were too cocksure of yourselves to listen.
Studying how to lie more effectively.
