I have _no_ experience with classified info.
I only deal with publicly available info, and you would be shocked at how easy it is to not disclose it, and how hard it is for the boss to find the information if it is not spoon fed to the boss.
That is not lying, it is just not telling the whole story that may be relevant to decision-making.
Example—suppose I had just been assigned a bad boss and I hated them.
Am I going to help them succeed or fail? Am I going to give them all the information they need to know to make good decisions, or will I just tell them what I want them to know?
We are talking about people here. That is one reason why big hierarchical systems fail so often.
That is why it is very important to be respectful and pleasant to all individuals in any organization. The lowliest peons can do you in...and you won’t see it coming.
