Scott seems to be promoting the idea that Trump is some master persuader or hypnotist.
I disagree. Trump had us on his side because he a) espoused the ideas of fairness, law, and freedom Americans already support, and b) demonstrated, through his actions in defiance of political correctness and orthodox Republican non-thinking, that he *meant* those statements. He didn’t magically convince us to adopt positions we already held.

Why did they cancel the fireworks the day before if they were certain they were going to win?

That’s so funny. Before the election, when it was announced that HIllary was canceling the fireworks show, I said that Trump should buy the fireworks show for pennies on the dollar to celebrate his victory. He was thinking the same thing. I knew I liked him.
I think Hillary still hopes to use them - she’s in for another YUGE disappointment....
Bet all of the congressmen who get kick backs from it aren’t too happy.
