Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman may have lost his handkerchief on Martha’s Vineyard one day in September 2014 – and two years later that incident has spawned a convoluted conspiracy theory involving a supposed pedophilia ring run out of a Washington, D.C., pizza joint.
How we got from John Podesta’s hankie to claims of a child sex ring – and an armed man arrested Sunday at the pizza parlor attempting to “investigate” the claims – is a disjointed tale that reveals how a toxic Internet story is born, fed and spread without evidence.
Edgar Maddison Welch, a 28-year-old North Carolina man, was arrested Sunday afternoon on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, after police say he fired his rifle into the floor of the pizza place. No one was hurt, but the incident sent customers running. Welch, who told authorities he went to the establishment to “self-investigate” the sex ring claims, allegedly was spotted looking for rumored tunnels filled with hidden children, a nearby store owner told The Washington Post.

I think this Pizzagate is probably nothing, BUT, there is so much more smoke here than with Trump and supposed ties to “white supremacists,” and the latter has been covered extensively by all news media for months.
This should be looked into. A random guy a few weeks ago found links between Comet Ping Pong and two of its neighboring restaurants: Besta Pizza and Terasol Bistro. All three had pedophile symbols in their menus and had those changed at the same time.
The owner of record is is Andrew Kline. He is Bill Clinton’s appointee for Human Traficing Prosecution attorney. How would this guy not notice the symbols for “Boy Love”, “Girl Love”, and “Child Love” on their menus and in the businesses themselves?
James Alefontes (runs Comet Ping Pong) name in French translates to J’aime L’enfants, or I love children. Probably not his real name.

I feel like an idiot. It’s taken up until now for me to put 2+2 together to realize this entire “fake news” meme was created to smoke screen pizzagate.
Was the term “Fake News” coined to cover up this very scandal?
I was watching a little of CNN this morning (don’t hate me for it) and they spent way too much time denying this story. The phrase “they doth protest too much” comes to mind.

Few major Media outlets have any capacity to do what used to be called ‘investigative journalism’. So while this may be only a Internet conspiracy, without some credible investigation how are we to know? CATCH-22.

It appears that he fired his weapon into the floor while inside the restaurant. That makes him a shooter.
He has been charged with aggravated assault and being that there were children in the pizza place, that aggravated assault charge should be enhanced.
In any case, being that Welch’s epistemology of the matter is rather twisted, will not help him with his case.
Why would a guy who is trying to investigate come in with a long arm. Don’t you think he’d be a bit more discreet?

Gareth Wade, who was eating pizza in the restaurant, told the Post a server came out and said, “A man had just walked into the building, passed us into the back of the building, he seemed to have a shotgun or a rifle-type of [gun] and said we ought to vacate the building.”

Well, of course, yeah, very obvious.
It’s all in his name, it’s like a secret code, a secret code that could not be broken with the Enigma Machine in 1942 but was eventually deciphered by the free Decoder Ring that was released to children via a box of Froot Loops in 1974.
