Donald Trump’s controversial decision to hold a 10-minute phone call with Taiwan’s president, Tsai Ing-wen, was caused by the billionaire’s lack of foreign policy experience, a mouthpiece for the Chinese government has claimed.
In an editorial published on Sunday, the China Daily, a state-run English-language newspaper, said the affair had “exposed nothing but his and his transition team’s inexperience in dealing with foreign affairs”.
Many had predicted that the call – the first known contact of its kind in almost four decades – would elicit a ferocious response from China’s leaders, who regard Taiwan as a breakaway province that should one day be reunified with the mainland.

You have to explain how Obama recently sold millions of weapons to Taiwan, that Taiwan is an ally and that somehow, China “owns” Taiwan....the only DEMOCRATIC entity “associated” with COMMUNIST China.

No, it exposes the fact that Donald Trump will not be intimidated by China or anyone else.
He took the call. We don’t know if it was encouraged by others on team Trump, but we have been told that the call itself was initiated from Taiwan.
All sources said he took the call vs. placing it - ironic how Kissinger was actually in China when it happened and on a “mission to ally their fears of a Trump Presidency”.....
Nothing like supporting communism.
Instead of giving China what it wants like we have since the days of Dr. Kissinger and Richard Nixon, a lot of us think its time to move in a different direction.

We’ve done with China what was done to Japan in previous times and if we don’t watch out and prepare, China will give us another Pearl Harbor that could be worse.

I can remember years and years of buying clothing marked “Made in Taiwan”. Maybe back in the late 1980’s...cuz someone told me the Taiwan story at that time.
