Reading through it now...pretty good case and looks to be easily rejected.
I can't speak to Michigan law but at least in NY, in the election law context, improper Notarization is often a fatal defect.
Either she is an absolute airhead or she did it on purpose.
NTOW.
Not Tired Of Winning.
.
From the filing:
“On what basis does Stein seek to disenfranchise Michigan citizens? None really, save for speculation. All available evidence suggests that the 2016 general election was not tainted by fraud or mistake. Governor Snyder has said so. See Governor Rick Snyder on Twitter, TwiTTER ~ (Nov. 28, 2016) archived at https://perma.cc/Q5X3-ACZV. So too has the White House. See ~ Geller, White House insists hackers didn’t sway election, even as recount begins, POLITICO. Nov. 26, 2016), archived at https://perma.cc/5Z5C-Z59S.
Even the chief counsel to second-place finisher Hillary Clinton concedes there is no evidence of any tampering that would warrant a recount
or lawsuit. See Elias, Listening and Responding To Calls for an Audit and Recount, MEDIUM,

Bkmk
So maybe Stein can argue that it was "the intent of the candidate" to have the petition notarized in the proper way.
Ummmm....
Michigan has been certified by BOC and SOS.
Stein’s efforts regarding “vote integrity” will not change anything.
I love the final paragraph in this document:
“Many of these costs would be acceptable if Michigan law really did entitle Stein to a recount. But it does not. And there is no reason to rewrite Michigan election law to accommodate the conspiracy-minded requests of an ACKNOWLEDGED LOSER (bwah-hah-ha-hah!!!!!). The Board should therefore deny Stein’s recount petition.”
I agree that she has to notarize it if the law requires it but due to the keen interest in this recount I doubt they will throw it out over a technicality. They will probably accept it with a condition that she submits her signature with a notary.

That is from DecisionDesk. No one else is reporting that number.
I love their whining. I hope they have reason to continue it until their deaths.
“I am tired of the whining left though.”

The whining of the left is like the song of a thousand swans stuck on the track in front of the Trump Train.
Forgive me, the intent of my post was just to notify that person of that discussion going on elsewhere here and for no other purpose (not fear trolling or any other related thing).
All Stein has to do is find a friendly judge and the Trump motion will be rejected. Easy to find a like minded judge wanting a recount. Such judges can make law up on the fly.
Regrettably, you’re probably right, unless after Monday they see PA revoke her court challenge.
thank you.
