Ella Grayce Pointer, the 21-month-old Georgia girl whose death in late October sparked social media outrage, was molested, according to new details released Thursday.
And authorities have charged her mother's boyfriend with murder, aggravated child molestation and other offenses in connection with the alleged crimes.
Dustin Drew Putnal, 27, was already in custody at the Polk County jail on a probation violation when the new charges were filed Wednesday, sheriff Johnny Moats told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The new charges came more than one month after emergency officials found Ella unresponsive at a Cedartown apartment. She was taken to Polk Medical Center, then flown to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston, The AJC reported.

Very good. I am not particularly “blood-thirsty” when it comes to capital punishment, but there are certain crimes so heinous that I think the perpetrator forfeits the right to live among us and needs to be passed along to God for final judgment.

Exactly. Mama’s live in boyfriend is jealous, probably pretty low IQ, and living off of mama - so he doesn’t want anything to get in the way. I don’t know why any woman would take up with one of these guys.

we are just more aware of the aberrant behavior. in the past only the police department and a few key people would be aware of this. when I was a kid the local media just would not report it.
