Something Happened That Protests Won’t Fix

The blurb on this episode of Bill Whittle’s Right Angle YouTube series says:

Well, after their monumental defeat, the Progressives will accept the election results with grace and dignity and learn from their mistakes… in a pig’s eye. No, they are going to hit back and they will hit back HARD.

It’s a good conversation, wide-ranging, as they discuss the consequences of this election. If I recall correctly, Scott Ott was not in favor of Donald Trump, but he abhorred what a Hillary Clinton presidency would have done to us. She would not have served as the center/leans Right Chief Executive her husband did. We would have had our very own Castro in drag. And she would have preserved Barack Obama’s miserable “legacy” of racism, rule by diktat, and continuing divisiveness. People like the Baron and me would have been shut down — as she repeatedly warned.

But as Bill and his co-host, Scott Ott, note all the protests in the world won’t change the results of the election. Donald Trump won. GET.OVER.IT.SNOWFLAKES

Meanwhile, Trump is busy assigning new people. I haven’t looked at them closely yet, though I do know some already. Reince Priebus and Steve Bannon don’t need the approval of the Senate to serve as part of Trump’s staff. Priebus is the ultimate insider. While I think he did not serve the GOP well at all during Romney’s presidential run, this may be the perfect match between a job and an employee’s skill set. He knows Washington inside out; he knows who not to know and who to cultivate. Steve Bannon is the iconoclast. He took over Breitbart News and did a great job: outposts in Jerusalem and the U.K. The non-dissident Right likes the cut of his jib. The Left? Well, here’s The Hollywood Reporter, being relatively reasonable (it may be that the interviewer knew Bannon in his old Hollywood days):

The liberal firewall against Trump was, most of all, the belief that the Republican contender was too disorganized, outlandish, outré and lacking in nuance to run a proper political campaign. That view was only confirmed when Bannon, editor of the outlandish and outré Breitbart News Network, took over the campaign in August. Now Bannon is arguably the most powerful person on the new White House team, embodying more than anyone the liberals’ awful existential pain and fury: How did someone so wrong — not just wrong, but inappropriate, unfit and “loathsome,” according to The New York Times — get it so spot-on right?

I think the leftist funded protests are only going to become more numerous and more violent.

Agree. The protests are the foundation of their efforts.

They are claiming “most Americans” agree with their perspective, but they know it won’t sell without some basis in fact, thus they protest, riot, destroy, all for the purpose of fabricating a negative aura to surround the opposition (Trump/Republicans) that took the ball away from them.

Then with the negative aura established with the help of their champions of the news media they can proceed to push the BIG lie that “most Americans” agree with them.

As per usual the Democrats have a plan based on a lie, and fabricated facts with media indulgence to promote their next assault on America in 2020.

These organizations need to be shut down immediately, no matter what:

CAIR

ACLU

The Department of Education

BLM

CNN

MSNBC

Huffington Post

National Public Radio (NPR)

Cut off all Federal funding for sanctuary cities AND arrest council members and mayors who make public statements in defense of illegal aliens. Charge them with aiding and abetting illegals.

If that doesn't scare the rest who need to be disciplined for advocating and furthering what the above had done, then shut them down too. This country better head back in the right direction or a lot of people are going to wish that it had done so.

In the movie Scrooged, the Bill Murray character plays a TV executive. There is a scene where he storms into his office and orders his assistant to "slam that door, hard"

I believe that all of these protests are just George Soros hiring a bunch of flunkies to slam a door for him.

That's a good assessment based on what I've learned about them. They are young, gullible, and naive to the ways of the world but full of knowledge and no wisdom. They are attention driven and willing to push the envelope to imoress or shock others. Most are not religious and have low or no morals so they are more likely to do evil without hesitation and are sociopathic in nature so they are not affected by people's pain unless it is someone particularly close to them. They live in wealth that only past generations could never dream of and their mothers and fathers rarely make them earn anything instead buying whatever thy want spooling them eaing them with no respect for hard work / work ethics. They are desperate in an an economy where they cannot find decent paying jobs especially with 100 - 200K college loans.

Then George Soros offers them jobs for $15 - 35$ an hour with many of them earning $5K and up a month. In addition he feeds them and puts thm up in hotels. And they will do just about anything to earn that wage and keep their jobs with the perks. Not to mention see themselves in the news because their organizers have friends in the MSM who used to attend the same college and the fact that they have a professional cinematography crew that they can hand the footage off o.

In other words they ARE the perfect flunkies or Soros who really pays them peanuts compared to what he is worth.

I believe that you are 'spot on' in your assessment of the protesters !

The protesters are sophomoric, immoral, sociopathic, and jealous of wealth belonging to others, and frustrated by debt and the lack of good paying jobs.
Add to that a sense of 'herd mentality' , and the need to belong to some cause to affect change of their circumstance, and yo have the identity of today's modern protester.
When the news cameras roll, they see themselves on television, even with their faces covered, they get a sense of identity, an identity of change and frustration.
And yet, they willingly accept the $35 per hour by a billionaire who makes more money from the chaos that they, the demonstrators, create, thus enriching him more.
Actually, it is their benefactor who is paying them, that they are railing against, yet they cannot see that he profits from their demonstrations and violence.
And the more violence, the more the benefactor profits financially from their actions and chaos from their social dissonance.
The protesters do not see that they are paid 'whores of social destruction', when, it is their benefactor/paymaster that they are actually protesting against.
