Like most of you I voted for Mitt because I could I could not imagine anything worse than 4 more years of zer0. I can now say thank God he lost. Had he won he would have spent the whole time reaching across the aisle, caving to DEMands, slowly lurching to the left. The conservative movement would have weakened as the globalist/dem/RINO/uniparty gained strength. Then he would have had his ass handed to him by Hillary in this election. She would have won in a landslide because milquetoast Mitt would never have called her out like the Don. She would have gotten away with everything and would be ruling us with her mandate and an iron fist. Any thoughts?
Whenever some some says ‘reach out’, they mean ‘reach around’.
My thoughts:
1) Said it before, will say it again: I am proud I never voted for him. Even in 2012.
2) I don’t mind him being “around” the administration, but do not want him holding a key cabinet position.
Exactly right in my view. I voted for him. Never spent a second resenting those who did not. He let his supporters know what hed have done when he tgrew the last debate and so soon after the Benghazi battle during which the state dept at the very least surrendered to the enemy and lied to us about it
He made nice with the perpetrator, obama, after not only winning the first debate, but after having visciously won against all other republican and conservative candidate. He was tough against conservatives and bullied by democrats.
I thought, in 2012, this last term of obama will put our country into such a sorry state thst it may as well just happen now
But with romney in tgere, the democrats would have run the country anyway, the way they always take charge with republicans in the majority
With romney in there, we’d be so discouraged, confused and abused, but moreso, dems would have cheated their way back in By 2020 i think tge US would have been Clintonia

What you are saying, is that we HAD to have the Current Occupant in his present position, to finally come to the point where it was a viable thing to put The Donald up for election.
Surprisingly, The Donald did not have to use the Current Occupant as a springboard nearly as much as he used Herself, to make his points in debate and in his very long whirlwind airport-runway campaign. In that three and four times a day he was making his appearances, he was just doing an updated version of Harry S Truman in 1948, with his “whistlestop” train platform tour of the US, an election in which nobody was for Harry except the people.
Showed him today...he won, but was denied via rigged.
Romney sat on stage like a sap and let Obama use him as a punching bag with zero answered blows. “Choked like a dog.”
Fortunately, some of us did not vote for Willard. But he wasn’t there to win, he was there to stop Conservative opposition to Zero. Same as McQueeg in 2008.

Romney would have been a one term president with a messy 2016 primary that he would have won but lost the general.
your correct analysis, after the fact, is part of the analysis those of us who chose not to vote for romney envisioned as legitimate possibility back in 2012. i have to confess that i didn’t envision Trump as that alternative to romney that would arise after 4 more years of obama, however. that was purely God’s own touch.
that being said, i hope the people who constantly yelled that a no vote for the leftist romney was equal to a yes vote for obama will remember this example before doing that ever again.
Well, we had 8 years of W and that gave us Obama. It’s over for all those go along, get along establishment pubs
I didn’t vote for him. We would have had 8 years of an ultra liberal Republican implementing liberal policies. And then we would have lost to Democrats implementing more liberal policies.
The big issue for me with a Romney presidency would have been some kind of compromise on illegal immigration. That would have really gotten me torqued. Now we have an opportunity to enforce the law.

Thankfully you all were much more prescient than I. I was 100% anyone but obama but was so blinded by my outrage that I failed to see the bigger picture.
you are absolutely WRONG,Obamacare wouldn’t exist, foreign nations would again respect us, our enemies would again fear us, and Republicans would have won a greater election, if possible!!!
