don't put all the blame on the docs....everyone should look themselves in the mirror and honestly admit that they are disappointed when the doc doesn't prescribe "something"...

we expect drugs and we get them...antibiotics, pain pills....we want them...

and the docs have to follow Jacho in that all pain must be treated no matter what and must be documented that you treated it....

Narcan is Not a New Drug. This antidote to Opiate overdoses has been in existence since the early 1980’s.I know since I served on a Major North East Trauma Centers Police Dept.

Narcan Is a miracle antidote if you can get to the drug abuser in time. It's as if the abuser is coming back from the dead.

The only problem is sooner or later the abuser will kill himself as they never give up the heroine addiction.

I believe that the current heroin epidemic is an unintended consequence of FedGov’s war on prescription opiates. Sure there were pill mills and people getting into trouble with these substances but they are relatively safe compared to street drugs because the dosage is known. Now that the supply of prescription opiates has been curtailed the street price has gone up to the point that heroin is less expensive. Some people are going to want to get high - unfortunately that is their nature. The stupid ones are overdosing which is one way to clean up the gene pool.

Eric Clapton - Cocaine

Another song Clapton "borrowed" from J.J. Cale (RIP). I'm a bit of a Cale fan, I admit.

I’m glad I had enough common sense to never ever try heroin. Crack and PCP were no goes for me as well.

I still like old fashioned rock and roll but to hear it I have to listen to Texas style country music not that Nashville homogenized stuff.

Received the following article this morning. The multiple-award-winning documentary, “The Greater Good,” was initially released in 2011. The producers of this film are allowing a full and FREE viewing through 11/25.

Passing it along since it addresses issues pertinent to you. Perhaps you have already seen this film. A producer of “The Greater Good”1 has also released short videos with outtakes of interviews that were conducted for the film, as well as other information covering a number of vaccine topics. There is a 2nd video on this topic, in the same article.

Hard to believe that there are still people who want to LEGALIZE DRUGS. How much more of this do they really want?

Why would there be more? Is illegality YOUR primary reason to not use heroin? Fear of addiction and death are mine - and those are independent of legal status.

On my way to and from work I pass the parole office, methadone clinic, and drug court (where they give drug tests to probationers). Their parking lots are packed. It is very depressing when you think about the implications of how busy they are.

It’s no coincidence that heroin abuse his skyrocketed since we’ve been in Afghanistan.

I never thought heroin would be chic after the dawn of AIDS.

Unbelievable.

This overdose problem is common in heroin for two reasons. The first is the quality variations in the product. Users get a more potent dose than they expect. The second is that dealers are cutting heroin with fentanyl and carfentanil, the latter being a large animal tranquilizer. Both are extremely dangerous in small quantities.

The overdose problem is common for idiots. It's that simple.

What annoys me is that they ALL sing through their nose. Thus, the "twang." Irritating to listen to when I HEAR some wonderful voices....a-twangin' away. WHAT a waste of a good voice. My opinion only.
