Years ago when my husband and I were going home from Glacier National Park we were coming around a bend in Idaho and there were 6 of those things in the middle of the road. Good thing we weren’t going real fast. The car headlights made them freeze right there. Scared the cr-p out of me.

If you read Cpl. Sam Watkins “Co. Aytch” He talks about coming across completely frozen soldiers still holding their rifles in their hands like statues in the woods. He goes into some detail about their appearance. Some had their eyes still open it was very creepy account.
