The only thing I’m waiting to find out is what inauguration ball I am going to go to. Since I was a delegate, I believe I will be invited to a a few. I have made all my other arrangements..

I was planning to then my boss called. I need to spend the week in Las Vegas at a trade show. I’m not happy and he knows it.

I live in FL and my two daughters and I are planning on going. I have not begun to look into details other than my daughter confirming with friends we could stay at their house in DC. If you have links or info about the inauguration, please ping me.

Traveling from Arizona. I was at the inauguration in 2000. With FreeRepublic. It was FREEZING and we were standing in the back. This time around I have a bit more pull, but I can’t control the weather. The Newseum option seemed fabulous. Indoor/outdoor...Day long event with one of the best views of the Capitol, food, drink and the best museum in Washington. (I visit the Newseum every time I go to DC).

Sounds like a great place to watch the parade, though. $500 is a bit steep, though.

Nope... I am not leaving my trip up to the weather, thank you. I have tickets from My Senator should I want to stand outside, but I have the option to be inside as well. I’m covered and I’m happy and I love the Newseum.
