How to reform the voting process
Freerepublic ^ | 11/10/2017 | Self

Posted on 11/10/2016 8:23:13 AM PST by MHGinTN

Aw right! we The People overcame vote fraud and got Trump into the Presidency. Now, we need to start sending in suggestions for his administration. I want to start the process with what I consider the most vital issue for America's future: how to make the election process honest and reflective of the TRUE will of we the sovereign people. And no, this does not and will not endorse tossing out the most brilliant aspect from our founding fathers and mothers, the electoral college.

Yes, I'm actually asking fellow Freepers to weigh in on ways to fix the corrupted voting process. I'll start the discussion with one point to ponder:

There are a bit more than 3000 vote districts spread across 50 states and a few protectorates, so a campaign from the fed to have states comply with purging dead people from vote rolls would stop a few hundred thousand fraudulent votes from being registered by treasonous cheaters. When a Civil War vet has a vote registered in a current election, I am absolutely certain someone has committed a crime against the sovereign voters.

Now, I know there are excellent minds at Freerepublic, so I am asking you Freepers to make suggestions on ways to make our voting process as safe from fraud as possible. The floor is open to everything from paper ballots with a copy to the voter, to cheat-proof techno wizardry. I will personally collect the ideas and collate them, have another thread later to post the best for further discussion, then make sure the suggestions get to Donald Trump, even if I have to hand carry them to the White House. Let's get to work.

Okay folks, time to get busy sending suggestions in for way Trump's administration can insure We The People are taking back OUR country. I will personally collect the ideas and collate them, have another thread later to post the best for further discussion, then make sure the suggestions get to Donald Trump, even if I have to load up my wheelchair and hand carry them to the White House. Let's get to work.

Liberals are screeching that Hillary won the popular vote. What they are conveniently forgetting to mention is that liberals, from Obama on down, have been encouraging and enabling non-eligible citizens and illegals to vote, to say nothing of the motor voters, dead voters, etc.

Once Trump is done deporting illegals and restoring law and order, libs be surprised by the margin of their loss in 2020!

Great answer from Hostage on this:

Australia is already developing cyber secure voting process based upon block-chain voting (think bitcoin)

Thump print or retina scan linked to citizenship database for starters.

In a recent poll, 13 percent of illegals claim to have voted.

How many ACTUALLY voted and did or did not admit, could be 75%.

Given 20-30 million illegals here, we may never win an election again unless we get voter fraud under control.

Got to be priority one along with borders.

I appreciate your post. Not familiar with what is happening down-under. But I guess I’m an old man with traditional mindsets ... I don’t trust computer voting or registry of votes, as it is now collated. The ones writing the programs can have too much power over the ballot counts.

1. Purge dead voters. Direct tie from vital statistics bureau to voter registration and SSA.

2. Picture ID and proof of citizenship to register. Thumb print required to be given. Future voting systems can use this for verification. Thumb print database sequestered from Law Enforcement to assure voters 5th Amendment rights.

3. Picture ID or thumb required to vote.

4. Restrict absentee and early voting to those with a valid reason. No automatic renewal. Same procedures as in person.

5. New national “Voting Day” Federal Holiday.

Feel free to add to my list.

I personally demand that ONLY citizens be allowed to have a vote registered. Even ‘green card holders’ can be cheated into the counts.

Yes indeed. Massive reforms are needed.

NO MORE OPEN PRIMARIES, RESET SEQUENCE TO FAVOR RED STATES.

Purge the rolls of all the ineligibles. The dead vote is massive and needs to stop.

Mandatory picture ID, no exceptions. Perhaps dip finger in ink like we saw in Iraq, so people can’t repeat vote.

Strictly curtail early voting.

It’s so damned rigged, it’s a miracle we pulled this one out.

So long as computers are used to collate the counts coming in from the 3000+ districts, demanding a photo ID will not steel the system from fraud. Here in East TN we use photo ID to vote. But machines collate and pass along to other computers.

It may sound harsh, but standing a computer against a wall for a firing squad doesn’t stop cheating ...

Reform electoral voting, so that electors are voted on by Congressional District. Then a majority vote of the state electors determines who gets the state’s “Senator” electors. . .

I am strongly in favor of one day, one vote, no exceptions except for military folks. Only those not in country should be allowed to cast an absentee ballot. NO EXCEPTIONS. And those ballots should have a surrogate for each and every one of them, to be cast on the one day voting is done in country.

1. When you register to vote must show proof of citizenship.

2. Voter ID when you vote, if you do not have an ID the government will issue a free one once you show proof of citizenship.

3. No early voting. Extend the voting process for three days. Absentee ballots permitted if you are away.

4. Severe penalties for vote fraud. First offense 2 years mandatory in jail. Make it a felony.

5. Paper ballot that is electronically read and the voter gets a receipt showing how he voted. If their is any question about voting irregularities the paper ballots are their to be checked if needed.

6. You dip your finger in indelible ink once you have voted.

This is the easy - and most important - part, of what Trump needs to do to throw sand in the gears of the corrupt Uniparty machine.

1) One-day voting. None of this extended early voting BS or voting by mail. These are just loading the dice. Absentee ballots are fine.

2) Paper ballots. Get scanners if you want, but the audit trail must be maintained, with chains of custody like forensic evidence, and they should be archived for at least 10 years and available for public scrutiny.

3) Voter ID. There is NO valid reason not to have it. You must be a citizen, and you must be who you claim to be. If you are not willing to perform that bare minumum of civic responsibility then what the hell are you doing voting? Disenfranchisement/civil rights violation claims are specious. If someone is without an ID, it is incumbent on them to go get one. Their affiliated party can help, or state services.

4) Periodic voter roll verification. I get stupid crap mail from my Congressjerk all the time, how much could it cost for a business reply mail to verify a voter's address?

This is all pretty basic stuff even for third world crapholes. There is no reason on earth to not have this in the world leading technological power - except one.

AGREED! No making any data base that identifies specific individuals of ALL citizens, except for criminal investigations where a very small population of genetic coded is involved (think CSI for a specific crime, limited to ONLY real suspects). I’m already uncomfortable with the ‘registration of firearms’ when purchased. Data bases are ripe for exploitation ...
