I had to turn off my clock radio this morning
WCBS radio channel 880 | 11/8/16 | Me, Myself, & I

Posted on 11/08/2016 3:36:25 AM PST by EinNYC

The clock radio alarm went off this morning. Channel 880 AM, WCBS radio, as usual. My morning fogginess was immediately cut by a barrage of Hillary puff pieces, one after another. Oh, an itsy bits mention of Trump and his campaigning, and then back to the Hillary puff pieces. It was disgusting, an obvious attempt at "subtle" campaigning for Hillary. I switched stations, something I've never before done for my breakfast radio listening. Not only did I want to be able to digest my breakfast, but I didn't want to add Pepto Bismol to the menu. It was that nauseating.

And people listen to CBS for their news? Might as well rely on Pravda, because that is what the mainstream media in this country have turned into.

Left the New York area in 1984 and don’t miss it one little bit.

Those folks are too smart to know anything.

The local news breaks at the top of the hour on Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity on WOR here in NYC area are the same. I switch them off for the five minutes they are on. They don’t seem to realize who the audience is. Or they do but they do not care.

I have noticed similar things. “News” always has a positive slant for Hillary and a negative one for Trump.

Once you take the red pill (see the manipulation), it all becomes obvious.

Group, I’ve been reading all night and it’s pretty clear Trump is not going to win. His message appeals to blue collar white people and that has been successfully used by the Dems to label his movement racist. In addition, border control, while having nothing to do with race, has been used to label the movement as racists. College educated people are uncomfortable with his message, too.

Underlying all of this is a subtle but obvious racism of minorities against white people. Obama has certainly contributed to that phenomenon. Furthermore, women in general seem to be naturally drawn to the message that government is there to take care of them...much more then men are. So, there goes the female vote as well.

Unless and until we can get minorities to embrace the concept of rugged individualism, they will continue to vote for Big Brother government. This time around, such a vote is for Shillary.

Donald Trump did historic things and his movement will live on in many ways, but get ready for Shillary. She’s going to be our next president. Now, I need a drink.

Turn them off. If enough people do, they go bankrupt.

I have a USB drive plugged into my car - gonna try to stay away from all the to-do until tonight.

Time to vote and take a breather.

Be sure and tell the radio station you changed to another station for the first time ever.

I hated them once I became politically “aware”. Luckily, my parents raised me on talk radio, 24/7. Always a radio on in my home. But if you needed traffic or other info quickly you had to go to 880 CBS or 1010 News WNEW(think thats it).
We usually had WOR 710, WMCA, or our previous beloved WABC Radio.
I feel your pain.

Yes the deplorables have been labeled and ridiculed and then hated - next comes dehumanization of us versus each other so that violence is socially accepted and encouraged

Classic Alinsky

But if we all go and vote it is our only way to defy the satanists
Our forefathers headed into many a “ hopeless “ battle ... Some of mine joined Washington at Valley Forge, in New York,in New Jersey

we need only a small amount of their courage to go cast our ballots

CBS radio has been, basically, a pro-Hillary campaign ad every day since at least the convention.

It’s not just the choice of stories, it’s the way the announcer reads them. You can hear the admiration in his/her voice for democrats and contempt for republicans.

My frustration is with how many minority voters just take the Democrat line hook, line, and sinker. We get basically no minority vote because we’ve effectively been labeled racist and intolerant. Still, you’d think that ‘some’ working class blacks and Hispanics would at least give us a chance. They are stuck in group think.

Speaking of ‘working class’, I like that term much better than ‘non-college educated’. I think the media say ‘non-college educated whites’ to infer stupidity....almost as if that group is right off of the set of Deliverance. Don’t accept that term when you argue. I don’t.

If Donald did anything, he at least consolidated most of the working class under the GOP brand. That’s an accomplishment because blue-collar dudes always voted with the Dems in the past. In the mean time, the self important dems have the college educated, the effete, and the the elites on their side. One of these days, that will be an easy political target. No one likes people who think they are smart and then tell you about it. Their day will come.

The one thing we have going for us is that Hillary is a crappy leader. This will become more clear when she takes center stage starting tonight. Her many flaws were hidden by Trumps dominating personality. With him off the stage, she will be exposed as uninspiring. Plus, her corruption and nefarious activity will live on and be used against her often.

The battle is never over because tomorrow always arrives. We begin again tomorrow.

I ONLY listen to WCBS 880 on my alarm clock. For news, I listen to WABC 770 (because they have most of the conservative talk shows I like), read papers on the internet, AND tune in to FR. I also listen to AM 970 because they have other conservative talk shows I like. This morning, I tuned into Joe Piscopo and was pleasantly surprised to hear him say he was voting for Trump.

I heard on WCBS about all the celebrities performing at Hillary's rallies. Since when have we looked to [the usually amoral, slimy, libtard] celebrities as political authorities on who to vote for? Would I ask Beyonce about whether I should undergo surgery for gall bladder disease or would I ask a doctor? If you would allow a rock star or actor to influence you about who to vote for, you are pathetic and suffer from micro-brain syndrome.
