It will become eventually, they just need a few more years of wine making under their belts. It takes time to learn all the ins and outs of producing really good wine.
Those tricky French just want to raise their wine prices.<<<
Along the lines I was thinking. Any wines coming out of that area should be very expensive...rare.

Don’t let it be. Some of the VERY BEST wines come from years when the vines had to really struggle. I suspect that 2016 vintage will be quite valuable down the road. That is, if Hillary doesn’t get into office.

When I was travelling, I always tried the locally produced stuff, rather than the wines that are available every where.
I had a some pleasant Texas wines during a couple trips to Dallas and Houston.
