If you want to have a good laugh at the expense of the PC Socialist Norwegians watch the Netflix comedy-drama series Lilyhammer. Use subtitles since some of the dialog is in Norwegian and some in English.

Stars Steven Van Zandt (Silvio in The Sopranos). Don't know how much of a lib he is but always plays a convincing gangster.

Why would we give a rip about what Norway thinks? They are selling their nation out to islime, all in the name of tolerance and the willingness to allow their daughters to be raped by the mudslimes.

The problem with the average Norwegian is that their media lies to them about America even more than the US MSM lies to us about our country and its political class.

If such a thing is possible!

It was worse back before they had cable & satellite & internet news.

One example: When Reagan bombed Libya in the mid-80s to retaliate for the Lockerbie & Hamburg disco bombings, their only news source was their single TV channel run by the Norwegian govt, and that was telling them that Reagan was targeting children's hospitals, orphanages and the like. They just basically re-broadcast what Libya's mouthpieces said, and didn't follow up with clips of the Pentagon's denial that was backed up with satellite photos and maps and such.

In the 90s, I found out that Norway was one of multiple W European countries that had seen a documentary movie put out by a Dutch filmmaker purporting to prove that the main reason Americans wanted to adopt foreign babies was to use them for body parts / organ donations. No word to the contrary accompanied these broadcasts, at least not in Norway.

In Dec 2000, I saw a translation of an article from the newspaper of the 3rd largest Norwegian city, that claimed that Jim Crow in the US South had basically never died. White LEO's were out in force in Florida and elsewhere on election day 2000, blocking critical roads to prevent blacks from getting to the polls. Meanwhile Gov Jeb was assisting his brother's narrow victory by illegally disenfranchising black voters in huge numbers, removing them from the voting rolls. You could literally "hear screamin' and bullwhips crackin'..." when reading the article. I discovered the reporterette had basically just translated it from a UK Guardian article, that in turn was based on already-discredited reports issued by the Gore campaign's effort to Throw All The Mud You Can Find Against The Wall to See If Any Sticks. When she was confronted with the fact that The Guardian had to have known the info they used had been discredited before they published it, she lamely ended the email conversation with, "Well, we were taught in journalism school that The Guardian is a reliable news source". [So there!]

So to understand the depth of the misinformation that Europeans are being fed when forming their opinions of US Politics, consider what "news sources" the average US millennial around you is basing their political opinions on, then consider the misinformation that the average American Black is being fed to influence their opinions, and then try to imagine something worse that both of those put together.

"If you don't read the newspapers, you are uninformed. If you do read the newspapers, you are misinformed". --- Mark Twain

Roughly four out of five Norwegians think Donald Trump would be a bad or terrible president

Good thing he's not running for President of Norway, then.

GREENTREE, PENN. — Before the sun came up in this Pittsburgh suburb, 12 Texans and a young man from Norway were already on their second cup of coffee and set to get on with the business of helping Republican Donald J. Trump win in the stubbornly blue state of Pennsylvania.

Interesting question.

Norway gave 500 million kroner to the Clinton foundation. Something like 80 million dollars.

It seems like it made Stoltenberg Nato chief.

Btw, weird it didn’t become a thing in the American elections.

It was a minor scandal how Norway gave so much money to the Clintons and it was labeled political investment, not aid.

I want Trump to have them extradited and jailed.

Start with that Nato chief, then our foreign minister.

Jim,

A lot of us in Norway are very happy with a Trump presidency.

Infact, I am writing this post dressed in a red “MAGA” shirt made in Pennsylvania.

Congratulations with the elections.

Cheers,

Euro.

Norway, like much of Europe get their impressions from what we consider left wing media.

And nearly all of that is state-run.

That’s great, but you will always be outvoted by your fellow Norwegians who are convinced that socialism will work if the right “leaders” implement it.
