8:25 p.m. ET Jaguars at Titans Wow! What a great game to kick off the Week 8 competition! I think my sock drawer needs rearranging so I will miss the live broadcast. Nevertheless, a pick is required so... With two blah teams facing each other and no other logical basis to make a pick, take the home team. Titans.

Sunday, Oct. 30

9:30 a.m. ET Redskins at Bengals 'Skins saw their four-game win streak come to an end against the Lions last week, and now travel to London to face a surging Bungles squad. I like the Bungles to keep on surging. Bengals.

1 p.m. ET Chiefs at Colts Chiefs surprised me last week. I hope they surprise me again. Chiefs.

1 p.m. ET Raiders at Buccaneers Raiders traveled to Jacksonville last week and came away with a win. This week across the state they'll come away with another Florida win.... And continue their march to the playoffs! Raiders.

1 p.m. ET Seahawks at Saints Seahawks could hardly play a worse game than they did last week (although they came away with the tie)... They will need to score more than six points to win this week. Seahawks.

1 p.m. ET Lions at Texans You think I would have learned over the years... Don't count on Matthew Stafford! Nevertheless, I will go against my natural misgivings... Lions.

1 p.m. ET Jets at Browns The Browns will get their first (and maybe only!) win of the season this week. Browns.

1 p.m. ET Packers at Falcons Just when I think the Falcons are about to separate themselves from the rest of the NFC South, they stumble. Maybe they are just a .500 team... Likewise, just when I think the Packers have solved their offensive problems they stumble again. If this comes down to a shoot-out, I like Rodgers indoors at the Georgia Dome outshining Matt Ryan. Packers.

1 p.m. ET Patriots at Bills Rule Number 2: don't count on the Bills - beat the Patriots in New England; lose to Miami at Miami. Ugh. Pats will get payback for that loss. Patriots.

4:05 p.m. ET Chargers at Broncos Chargers have won.... two in a row?! And have already beaten the Broncos once....Can they achieve the season sweep and a three-game streak at the same time?! Nah...Broncos.

4:25 p.m. ET Cardinals at Panthers Panthers season is effectively over. Cardinals... well, I don't know what the heck is happening with them, but I think they'll get it together for a win. Cardinals.

8:30 p.m. ET Eagles at Cowboys Two rookie QBS face each other. I like Prescott and the 'Boys to best the Iggles. Cowboys.

Monday, Oct. 31

8:30 p.m. ET Vikings at Bears There's no better cure for laying an egg last week than facing the Bears this week. Vikings.
