I never knew anyone who didn’t vote once they turned 18.

Don’t know how young you are Grams but when I turned 18, the voting age was 21.
I’m wayyyyyyyyyyyy old! But you are right about it being changed, I believe in 1970 or 1971. When I was eighteen we were allowed to vote in very local elections. Didn’t affect the outcome of much but did give us some exposure and experience in that arena.
