Actually you can sue the NYT. The standard is higher in that you have to prove “malice”. In this case the NYT has shown a pattern of bias against Trump. They have issued a formal endorsement of his opponent. They have issued other stories with an intent on destroying Trump without the normal fact checking that is expected of a major newspaper and they ran with a Trumped up story that was obviously fabricated with the intention of destroying the reputation of Donald Trump and either knew or should have known the story was false.

All of the necessary elements for a celebrity to sue a newspaper (Per NYT v Sullivan) are present in this case. DT has an excellent chance of prevailing in a lawsuit for libel.

Good info, P-M.

Apparently a different Leeds woman, but the airplane armrest idea put out by gamecock is pretty solid. They didn’t lift in first class seats at that time.
