And the latest entry in a long line of mainstream media attempts to marginalize Donald Trump came today on With All Due Respect. Co-host John Heilemann obviously wanted to portray Trump as over the top crazy by comparing him to Colonel Kurtz of the Apocalypse Now movie. Let us join Heilemann as he attempted to divert attention from the Wikileaks revelations, which he later wrote off as mere insider politics stuff, by focusing on Trump as Kurtz. Heilemann reminds me of Martin Bormann.
In “Heart of Darkness”, Kurtz is a man who professes to be a moral beacon, but succumbs to inner weakness and loses any portion of civilized behavior he might have once had once he is no longer curbed by social praise and constraints.
Who does that fit best of the two candidates?
Hellary, of course. For her, laws are for the little people, not the ubermensch. Lies and deceit are fine, since their purpose is benefit her.
Heilemann must not understand the story.

Without wasting effort by trying to name the most contemptible Trump detractor--or diverting attention from the issues crucial to the very survival of America--we need to put into juxtaposition, the insane narrative of the prissy poseurs, as a class, with the issues that are crucial to any American future. Can anyone, that is any rational person, suggest that Donald Trump's mistake in letting a recounting of a sexual fantasy, eleven years ago, be recorded, is 1/100,000th as important as any of a half dozen issues, where he is for America & Hillary Clinton is not.
3. Again, not getting into wasting time, or building a specific barrier against any sanctimonious twit returning to the cause, as a reformed prodigal; we must organize discussions that compare priorities. The more that we focus on what is really important, the stupider & less principled the sanctimonious twits will sound--and the more certain their comeuppance on November 8th.
Damn the pseudo intellectual poseurs--for that is what they truly are;--Damn the liars & Damn the lies! Full speed ahead. Trump to the White House!
John Heilemann needs a safe spot until after the election. The whole MSM will before this is over.

Well the point of the movie was whether Col. Kurtz was sane and everyone else trying to silence him was nuts.
Actually, one of the major themes of Apocalypse Now was whether or not Kurtz was mad or was he acting perfectly rational in accomplishing the results which which he had been tasked in an insane situation not of his making. Was it really Kurtz or the ones who wanted him dead who were the insane ones? Captain Willard never really does come to a firm conclusion on this although he struggles with the question throughout the movie.
LOL you beat me by a few seconds in pointing out the major theme of the entire movie.
