Fellow Freepers, I need some encouragement about the 2016 Presidential Election. I've got the same sinking feeling that I had before Obama's 2 elections. I've stated before that Trump was not my 1st choice for the Republican nomination. But he won and I wholeheartedly endorse his campaign. All major media outlets (including Fox) has actively come out against him. A 12 yr old "hot mike" slang conversation is being used to destroy him. Paul Ryan and a host of other establishment Republicans are working to elect Hillary Clinton. Even after a brave and domineering debate performance the talking heads like Rove put him almost double digit down to one of the most corrupt individuals in American History. Americans seem content to pack the Supreme Court with people who don't believe in law. They are about to elect a President who set the Mideast aflame. She believes Christians only have the right to espouse their beliefs in a Church. SisterK and Stars and Stripes have faithfully that America wakes up before we leap into this precipice of moral extinction. I've said all this to say that I need encouragement. My fellow Christians say that I should not fret because God is in control. But I still worry about the pain that is about to reign down upon our beloved America. I know Donald Trump is flawed like all of us but he really believes in fighting for the neglected people in our country. Please give me some perspective on the next 20 some days ti the election. Thank all of you Freepers for the island of freedom you have carved out.

The Media exists NOT to "report news," but exactly to manipulate "news" and hypnotize you and millions more. Your paranoia is not without merit; Yes, they are out to get us, BUT that said, THEY. ARE. LOSING.
Snap out of it. Trump is catching flak on top of flak. EXACTLY because he IS succeeding at destroying the Uniparty Bases of Operation (Don't wait for the MSM to tell you that.)
The MSM has gone full-throttle to discourage and demotivate Trump voters. Both Democrats and establishment Republicans want to keep Trump from winning because he will truly upset the apple cart and the gravy train they have all been riding at our expense.
They are jacking the polls D+10 or more to keep Crooked Hillary ahead - despite the fact that the 2012 election turnout was D+6.
Even so, it's a close race. And most polls are in the 46-42 per cent range, which is leaving out close to 15 per cent of the voters. I can tell you that Johnson and Stein are not going to combine for that 15 per cent! They barely got one percent in 2012. So there is still a significant percentage of voters out there.
Four years ago at this time, the Obama campaign was somewhat smug and Romney was not exactly exciting the base. This time, the Democrats are obviously panicked and are reduced to slinging mud at Trump.
So I recommend to all the pearl clutchers out there to turn off their televisions and watch the Trump rallies that are now being streamed on the Internet daily. There is clearly a movement going on out there but you aren't going to see it on CNN, FoxNews and the rest.
Look on the bright side. There are 15 countries more free than the US that we can move to. And the number gets bigger each year:

Trump has got everyone against him because he not for the status quo. Not for the commie agenda 21. Not a globalist!
Cruz was a solid conservative. He also didn't have this sort of 'baggage' with him. He was wise, intelligent, mature and sober. Much like Trump's running mate, Mike Pence. Trump did very well selecting him.
Just some anecdotal, admittedly unscientific observations. Last week I was at the monthly car show in Dade City, FL. In terms of percentages, Dade City is the most heavily Dem-registered city in Florida. While driving through the west end of town, which is largely Latino, many migrant workers live there, I have not seen ONE Clinton bumper sticker or yard sign in that neighborhood. In fact I noticed a Black man checking out our cars in a Trump t-shirt. And at his rally at the FL fairgrounds I noticed quite a few Black and Latino people there. If Trump gets at least 20% of the Black vote, and judging by what we saw at that rally it’s very conceivable, than stick a fork in Her Heinous, she’s done. Trump is boldly going where no republican has gone before.
Then he can PM you and you both can have a therapy session.
Otherwise this crap should have been zotted 20 minutes ago.

I am also discouraged. My Father who has been voting straight Republican since Eisenhower, has been influenced by the news/propaganda. He thinks both candidates are bad. I asked what he disliked about Trump... only thing he had was that he was egotist.
He assured me that he would vote Trump... to stop Hillary. My brother, however, is not voting for any presidential candidate... so I have to work on him.
