The big story is that Trump mispronounced Nevada. Like it's a very serious mistake which will sink him. Is this really the best they can do? Remember when obambi pronounced corpsman "corpse man"?
Ne-VAH-da is the correct Spanish. Criticizing Trump for this is hurtful and insensitive to Spanish-speaking voters.
I’m not sure Trump can recover from this terrible, devastating mistake. [/s]
I’m thinkin’ the 57 states comment was more egregious than sayin’ Neh-vah-duh instead of Ne va dah. Of course if he’d just release his tax returns, everything would be A-otay in the universe. At least that’s what timmie thinks.
This type of criticism worked in the past. Now, it just reminds Trump supporters why we despise the media.
Just as how they dumped on George Bush for his pronunciation of “nuclear” (though I recall Jimmy Carter pronouncing it exactly the same way, and he had been an officer on a nuclear submarine).
It’s like arguing about how to say tomato.
This is what liberals do.
If Hillary had said it they would be praising her all inclusive multicultural more nuanced pronunciation.
If you want to have some fun with people from Oregon pronounce it the Eastern way:
OR e gon. :-
Organ
I hope he studies how to spell “potato” before the next “debate”.
Oh My...I have been saying “Ne-VAH-da” for YEARS!
The correct pronunciation is the one Trump used. The media is criticizing him for not using the Anglicized pronunciation.
That’s racist!
I believe that is also how the Japanese pilot pronounces it in “Tora Tora Tora.”
Yes. It is.
LOL.
Well... As long as he can spell potato, he’ll do fine.
