Claims that Hillary Clinton wore earpiece at debate don't hold up

For the record, Clinton campaign spokesman Josh Schwerin told PolitiFact that Clinton "was not wearing an earpiece." Asked whether she has a hearing aid, he said, "No."

So, let’s take a look at the original evidence offered -- a Reuters photo and an enlargement that some say show the suspicious, fleshy bulge in Clinton’s ear.

It’s not called an “earpiece”, a Clinton crony would claim the accusations are false. That was a “wearable wireless speaker”, not an earpiece!

Ok but then it must have been the drain tube that her doctor admitted the insertion of into her ear following a brain scan and then surgery under general anesthesia that was kept secret from the American public. Because we all know how common it is to have a brain scan for a sinus infection and how drain tubes are commonly used on 69 year-olds. Do I have that right?

Some more observations on Politifact. They go the route of wilful ignorance. Yes, the unemployment numbers are not “rigged” in the sense that they just make the numbers up. They miss the point. The methodology was DESIGNED to create a perverse result. No, Obama, didn't do that. It started under LBJ and was finally massaged by Bill Clinton. Obama just benefits from it as the results are the most perverse they have ever been.
