You’re right, Trump should have been more prepared. I think he did quite well considering he was tag teamed by Hillary and Holt. I just read an article saying Holt interrupted Trump 41 times, Hillary 7. He never asked her about Benghazi, Clinton Foundation, landing under sniper fire, lying about virtually everything, didn’t fact check a thing, almost nothing about her emails...
Trump also missed several chances to bring up those issues himself, if the moderator didn’t. Unprepared. He even gave less than satisfactory answers on topics he should have expected. His one response about her emails is a good example. I think he was simply off his game, had a cold coming on.
He still did well. But I think it was a draw.
I’ve been a Trump supporter since before he announced he was running, I had my fingers crossed. I’ve never even thought twice about it, he’s exactly what we need. Not a politician, too rich to be bought, backbone enough to stand up against the politicians and press, listens to and cares about us, the ones who have been ignored by virtually everyone in DC for 50 years.

That’s one thing most people don’t realize about Trump. No way would he have anyone in his inner circle who doesn’t have the ‘nads to go toe to toe when he thinks he is right. To be in that crew you have to be able to stand up to him, speak up and stand your ground, and get in his face if you have to, to get the point across. He’s known Rudy G for years, he’ll let Rudy school him in a second and never blink. Ditto for Newt, probably everyone else on his team. Read the interview with his butler.
He knew before he walked out of the building what Rudy thought. He knows right now what he needs to do next time. Unless he was holding back intentionally and they already knew it. I would believe that too, I find it extremely unusual he appeared to be unprepared last night. Unprepared is one thing that’s almost never said about Trump. And never underestimate him either.
The thing is, Donald was doing his begt to do the stupid "WHITE GLOVE GOPer" and to look presidential. Also the fact that Ivanka is friends with Chels put a sock in his mouth. Well, that didn't work out too well and it's time for him to play dirty and he knows it!
He didn't have to "go there", re Slick Willie's dalliances and rapes, but he sure had to go into the Criminal Clinton Fund, the deaths and lies of Benghazi, etc., etc., etc.; not to mention Hillary taking full price of her taxes, for old, ratty, well used underwear! We know about all of this ( and he shouldn't forget WHITEWATER!!!!!!!! ), but I bet that many don't know about any of the myriad scandals, or haves forgotten about them.
And he needs to get Icahn to explain to him all about Red Bone and the cattle futures business.
OTOH, since the next mess is a Town Hall thingy, he's going to have to figure out HOW to work that stuff into his answers. He'll probably be asked about not paying any taxes and that's a perfect time for him to unload some of that stuff about Hillary!

I couldn’t believe he chose THAT moment to go soft! He can’t afford to give Clinton any crack of an opening with which to drive home any advantage.
I look at it this way: Did the fact that Chelsea is friends with Ivanka stop Clinton from name calling accusations? No way, Jose!
She knows when she’s playing for all the marbles, any breaks “cut “will be pounced upon for the win.

I do like to read articles about her on Daily Mail but honestly, she really has no clue about our Constitutional Republic and how this gov’t is supposed to run....and SHE’s not the one running...so I would love her to butt out now.
