For there being “not enough evidence” to prosecute, they sure seem to need a lot of immunity

Maybe you should pay a little closer attention, the bureaucracy is no longer accountable to anyone. They are largely staffed by liberal progressives. When Bill Clinton left office much of the liberal infestation stayed and after Obama much of what he put in place will remain because he packed the courts. Congress no longer has any say in running this country and have turned into a rubber stamp and that largely is also a Republican responsibility. It’s disgusting.

No, he visits several cities a day, and the press report on everything he says there. He runs ads in battleground states where they are needed. He is running an extremely lean and intelligent campaign.

Trump could run his whole campaign from his home office with a webserver and Skype and a webcam

He could just announce he will hold a 15 minute nightly session to set the media lies straight

Even if he is at a live rally, just stream it from there

I bet he would get more viewers than all media outlets combined

Part of it is why give your enemy - the media - money...change the paradigm. Starve the beast. Ads are far less effective than they used to be...people are quite immune to them, and in most cases they are muted if not skipped altogether.

Why did Hillary allow them to accept immunity deals? If she anted justice to be served, she would not have allowed them to be immune from prosecution.

Can’t see that being a winning strategy in a national election.

Trust me, he knows what he's doing. Thus far, his strategy has worked against 16 other opponents, the media, the DNC and the GOP establishment. The last thing we need to be doing now is clutching pearls over his ad placement.

I want to know the reason Mills was given immunity to give up her laptop which should have been given to FBI with a subpoena for records. Mr. Comey what say you ? More shuck and jive talk?

DOJ immunity guidelines-immunity for records only of sole proprietors who have 5th amendment right not for govt records. Did Mills have non govt records on her laptop like yoga and wedding plans?
Who paid for the laptop, was it govt property? Did she use it as an attorney and mix records? AND WHY WAS SHE IN THE INTERVIEW OF CLINTON BY FBI-clearly conflict of interest

All this immunity should be a signal that the investigation is active, and that they are, indeed, going after truly big fish. Unfortunately, anyone with half a brain can see the writing on the wall. This is being done to stonewall, silence and shut down an investigation.

>If he wins does he go after her???
I’d like nothing more than seeing her in jail.

Except maybe
* fixing the supreme court
* fixing the economy
* fixing Obamacare
* fixing the military
* destroying ISIS
* eliminating BLM influence

just to name a few. A big part of my love for Trump is that he can get opposing groups to work together and gets a great deal for his side. Going after her means almost 1/2 of the government (Ds) will oppose him on everything else he (and I) want. Letting her go free is disgusting and goes against our rule of law. It’s also likely a necessary negotiating point that he needs to let Ds win.

I hope he makes the Ds pay HUGE to keep her out of jail.

Wait until Trump is president. The congressional RINOs will fight him like never before, and people will wonder where were they in the Bath House era. I guarantee it. The open borders, cheap labor, and globalist RINOs will come alive.

immunity is for liars.....

They can lie under oath...leave out anything they want...tell half truths....blame someone else....and the old standby...I don't remember....

Cooperation my a**

Pardon her for what? No charges have been brought.

No charges need to have been brought, nor need the crimes be enumerated. A Republican president set the precedent by pardoning a republican president.

BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

A PROCLAMATION

Richard Nixon became the thirty-seventh President of the United States on January 20, 1969 and was reelected in 1972 for a second term by the electors of forty-nine of the fifty states. His term in office continued until his resignation on August 9, 1974.

Pursuant to resolutions of the House of Representatives, its Committee on the Judiciary conducted an inquiry and investigation on the impeachment of the President extending over more than eight months. The hearings of the Committee and its deliberations, which received wide national publicity over television, radio, and in printed media, resulted in votes adverse to Richard Nixon on recommended Articles of Impeachment.

As a result of certain acts or omissions occurring before his resignation from the Office of President, Richard Nixon has become liable to possible indictment and trial for offenses against the United States. Whether or not he shall be so prosecuted depends on findings of the appropriate grand jury and on the discretion of the authorized prosecutor. Should an indictment ensue, the accused shall then be entitled to a fair trial by an impartial jury, as guaranteed to every individual by the Constitution.

It is believed that a trial of Richard Nixon, if it became necessary, could not fairly begin until a year or more has elapsed. In the meantime, the tranquility to which this nation has been restored by the events of recent weeks could be irreparably lost by the prospects of bringing to trial a former President of the United States. The prospects of such trial will cause prolonged and divisive debate over the propriety of exposing to further punishment and degradation a man who has already paid the unprecedented penalty of relinquishing the highest elective office of the United States.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GERALD R. FORD, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, pursuant to the pardon power conferred upon me by Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution, have granted and by these presents do grant a full, free, and absolute pardon unto Richard Nixon for all offenses against the United States which he, Richard Nixon, has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 20, 1969 through August 9, 1974.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this eighth day of September, in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and seventy-four, and of the Independence of the United States of America the one hundred and ninety-ninth.

IIRC, Bubba was given a "get out of jail card" on the day he left office. He made a deal...No lawsuits after he leaves office. In return, he would give up his Law license for 5 years and never be able to practice before the supreme court.

The crux of the deal was...whatever was pending...it was doubtful that he would be convicted...

I believe Obama will do something similar with Hillary.

I believe Presidents must be precise as to the specific acts that they grant pardons to. I don’t believe blanket pardons are permissible.

I could be wrong but I don’t believe anyone can pardon acts of treason.

Clinton may be pardoned for having an illegal computer network operating for government business but I don’t believe she can be pardoned for selling or causing to be sold state secrets.

Again, I could be wrong but Obama would have to describe what his pardon of her covers and he would also have to pardon every person she had contact with on the illegal network, else they could be prosecuted. Sydney Blumenthal comes to mind ...

I think it’s pretty obvious there simply is no accountability...only the motions ‘to look like’ it. Congress has no interest in doing more than putting on the show...looks good sounds good but in the end accomplishes nothing but putting on the show.

Given he's basically tied in the polls - I think the social media strategy works.

I see the MSM really panicking for three reasons:

1. They are all staunch Hillary! supporters, and with TRUMP pulling even or ahead, they're freaking out!

2. They want to maintain their position as kingmakers. In the past, a successful politician had to go through the media, and at least work with them, if not outright support them. That's power - the power to annoint!

3. They see their golden goose being cooked. The MSM used to be able to count on literally billions in revenue spent by politicians. TRUMP is cutting them off, by taking it viral and social. He's spending less than $100 million total; they'll end up having around $1 billion LESS in revenue because of the way he's running his campaign.

The MSM will do everything they can to destroy TRUMP because of these issues. And I'd say he's going to win anyway, and the MSM will never fully recover...
