We have just received information that a certain Marine Corps INFANTRY BATTALION currently stationed at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina has been placed in an ALERT STATUS. All leave has been cancelled for the unit, and all Marines have been ordered back to base immediately!

Camp Lejeune is located only a few hours away, by HUMVEE, from Charlotte, North Carolina. We are unable to confirm if this is related to the Insurrection in Charlotte. However, this is the closest location of US Military Troops to Charlotte. We will continue to bring your the latest news as it develops.
Also, we have learned that President Obama is planning to address the crisis in the next few days. We will update this article as information comes available.

My guess is they don’t want any of their people involved.
They will not move an active Marine unit against a civilian US population. The governor has control on this one with the national guard.
Totally illegal to do this.
With this administration, the announcement may be a rhetorical trap door set for Donald Trump to react to in some over the top fashion. Of course that sounds ridiculous, but put nothing past the Dems during election year. This is hardball. If this were a genuine call to arms, I would think the word would have circulated among for people by now.
If true, perhaps they wanted to keep some Marines from participating in the festivities?
Even if true (doubtful), Marines on this kind of alert wouldn’t have anything to do with Charlotte. October Surprise?
Martial Law is my take too, especially if Hillary bombs in the debate.
I’m a former Marine, I’ve seen this happen before - they don’t want anyone involved with what’s happening in Charlotte, so they are ordering them to stay on base.
