I used to do insurance inspections. A grill on a WOOD deck was a no-no. Out in the yard ... no problem. I don’t see why it would be a problem on a steel fire escape or a deck made from steel grating.
Years ago there was a science fiction story titled, “With folded hands.” Alien robots came to Earth with the intention of serving man and keeping him safe. People loved it. So, by the time people understood what they meant by keeping them safe, it was too late. The robots wouldn’t allow people to do anything for themselves because it was too dangerous. As I recall the story ends with a guy being chauffeured in his car and the robot is explaining man’s role, to be kept safe. Never to be allowed to do anything for themselves ever again. He folds his hands and stares out the window.

NYC is my hometown. Now I almost never go in. But I had to go in twice in the last two weeks. It has turned into a pure Hell hole ... just like the set of a bad dystopian sci-fi movie.
I’ve converted by big hurricane generator to propane and have (at last count) 34 of these propane bottles in storage. I bought most of them at yard sales for $3.00 each. Some were full at $8.00 each.
Fire codes ban this universally, not just in Nueva Yawk Cuidad.
I’ve seen pictures of homes literally burned down to the ground and the only object left remaining is the steel propane tank.
Don’t see anything banning the storage of propane tanks in mosques.
