This elevating of special groups started in the 90’s, during the Clinton Admin. They did their best to divide us as a nation, but 9/11 intervened and the divisions became less. Now the Obama Admin has been very successful at dividing us into many special interest groups and pitting groups against each other. I remember Dennis Prager talking in the 90’s, about a history textbook that actually told of the discovery of the Hudson River by a Polish explorer. It wasn’t true of course, but the textbook company wanted Poles to be proud of their heritage. Truth has fallen by the wayside in order to elevate ‘groups’ above each other. Seems like a backlash against whites and ‘white privilege’.....never mind that whites did a great job in the founding of this country and in her continued success.....until the Age of Obama.
If there is ANYTHING/ANYPLACE that doesn’t elevate a minority, it is by default an affront to minorities and a false palace for whites. I guess you haven’t been paying attention the last 8 years.

Note that when people said "All Lives Matter" they were attacked as racists who were consumed with hatred for black people.

We are allowed forced to praise and promote blacks at every turn. To fail to do so is to be a racist. If you take time out to say a kind word about anyone who is not black, then that is racist also, and a "dog whistle" that you wish to bring back Jim Crow.
Any celebration of African cannibalism? Any celebration of African-American slaughter of each other and every other race? Any celebration of 70+% children born out of wedlock? Any celebration of the complete breakdown of the black family? Any celebration of high welfare rate, the destruction of our big cities under black control, the thousands of black criminal gangs, and on and on and on? So much material to celebrate.
Well, they got the size right at least...
It’s funny, the Libs LOVE Europe, a continent whose History, culture and continuing prosperity is because of the fascination with the lives and works of “dead white men”,i.e. Picasso, Mozart, etc....who in the Hell would visit Europe if not for the legacy of these giants?

I was in DC last summer, and saw the ugly monstrosity being built.
It will join the “modern art” Hirschorn Museum as one Smithsonian museum that I will never visit.
That is not to denigrate black folks - MANY of them have made invaluable contributions to our nation throughout the course of its history, and MANY have been just like most white or hispanic folks - just anonymously going through life, important only to their family, friends and co-workers, but contributing to society by being law-abiding, tax-paying citizens who raised their kids well and love/loved their country - despite its flaws. Special thanks to those black folks who fought for this nation, or otherwise served it in the armed forces, or as first responders.
But a museum dedicated to being just like Obama - in your face to most of the country - isn’t going to see me inside of it.
Does this mean they can pull all the black, hispanic, oriental etc displays out of the BIG museum and rename it Caucasian Museum?
Maybe not. Black Americans aren't replacing their numbers. In another 50 years there may be as few as 10 million left.
Unless dead rappers and gang members are on display.

1. The knockout Game Hall.
2. The Gangrape Hall.
3. The auto hijack hall.
4. The 1968 Black Power Olympics Hall.
5. The Thugball 1 Hall.
6. The Thugball 2 Hall.
7. The Rapper shootouts hall.
8. The Congressional Black caucus Hall.
9. The Black Panthers Hall.
10. The New Black Panthers Hall.
11. The Nation of Islam Hall.
12. The Jazz Music Hall.
13. The Rap hall.
How many Halls in the place anyway?

I think it’s rich this is opening up while more of their “protests” are going on. I had no idea about this outrage until this morning on FOX. Bad enough that damn Indian museum there. Not crazy about Holocaust Museum being here, either (though it’s not on the Mall).
The whole area should just be renamed Grievance Park now.
