...after a spare lithium ion battery for her e-cigarette exploded in her pocket. Did she have a cap on the connection end of the spare battery?
When I remove the cartridge from the battery on mine, the battery's terminals are exposed. They could possibly have been shorted out by some sort of metallic object in her pocket.
