Seahawks to stand, interlock arms during anthem

Doug Baldwin promised the Seattle Seahawks would plan a demonstration of "unity" during the national anthem before Sunday's season opener against the Miami Dolphins on Sept. 11.
On Saturday, Baldwin revealed the team's plan to stand and interlock arms.
"We are a team comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds," Baldwin said in the video. "And as a team, we have chosen to stand and interlock arms in unity. We honor those who have fought for the freedom we cherish. And we stand to ensure that the riches of freedom, and the security of justice for all people. Progress can and will be made only if we stand together."

I may be the next Marvel super hero. I apparently have the power to allow people to have voted for Obama. Despite all the volunteer work I did. That is a mysterious and other worldly power.
If I really did have a super power, I would make sure that athletes battle on the field as good sports, respect each other’s skills, shake hands afterwards, and not try to send someone to the hospital. That is evil.

Thanks for the response. The funny thing is we are on the same side. I did not know I love libs, the philosophy I have battled all my adult life. Wanting a football player to end up in a hospital is way over the top and as I said, evil.
Is that all these clowns plan to do? Will they go back to normal afterwards? And actually play football?
Seems a way to maintain team unity/integrity w/o being as obnoxious as some would have been.
