I have absolutely no medical knowledge or technological experience upon which to base the following question, nevertheless:

Is it possible that the purpose of the earpiece was not to prompt Hillary with answers but to see her through an attack such as we have seen done when her handlers had to come up to her rub her back and tell her to keep talking when she simply went blank? In other words is the earpiece for medical purposes rather than to be used as a prompt?
